If al-Qaeda and the other terrorists take over in Iraq, anyone who assisted the democratically elected government will end up being slaughtered. One of the major goals of al-Qaeda and the other Islamofascists is to establish a world wide caliphate, and leaders of al-Qaeda have stated that they NEED to win in Iraq in order for their goal to be realized. The traitorous Ron Paul is willing to give in to them because he thinks that it's "unnecessary" to fight in Iraq. He needs to be defeated in the 2008 congressional primaries, because his presence in congress has served no purpose other than to embolden our enemies.

Just voted... RP has (at this moment) 28.5 percent, leading the pack (with 1700+ votes cast). Most interesting!!!

So send him to Iraq!

Good plan.

Don't worry. Ol' PJM will probably pull the 'Paul's supporters cheated' mantra they did when they pulled his name off the ballot the first time. The poor saps just can't wrap their brains around the fact that many conservatives don't want a leader that will 'give' us something or involve us in world issues that are none of our business

"A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for surrender."

You got that right. Those Ron Paul voters, they've already quit--quit paying attention to people like you, that is. I might yet vote for Duncan Hunter, but it won't be because you lie about Ron Paul's record.

Who's this Paul Ron guy some people keep talking about?

I think Paul is roomies with Hunter, Tancredo, Huckabee, Gilmore, Pataki, Hagel and possible others who each share a room in the House of 1% or less.

If the Iraqi state collapses, Islamist fundamentalists will take up residence there.

If we pull out...and we should...the worst thing that can happen is that the various factions will kill each other.

Practically speaking, that's less that we will have to kill further on up the road. What will happen is two-fold:

  1. Somebody will end up in charge.
  2. We will buy oil from that somebody.
Same as it ever was.

I expect you may have the right of it. There are WAY too many alleged "conservatives" who want nothing more than to "conserve" big government and the ruination of the Constitution and the Republic...

You state that:

After decades of law practice, let me tell you that truth is a complete defense to any claim of defamation... Obviously, you and I disagree on Ron Paul. Let's not pretend that our disagreement has anything whatsoever with your religion or mine.

My problem is exactly that: You're not speaking Truth, but rather Bearing False Witness, when you say:

That's not the Truth. You've already admitted yourself that Ron Paul at least believes that the Pro-Life Cause is worth fighting for; and Ron Paul has already demonstrated by his Votes that he believes in fighting against "those nations, organizations, or persons he determines planned, authorized, committed, or aided the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001, or harbored such organizations or persons, in order to prevent any future acts of international terrorism against the United States by such nations, organizations or persons". (The Exact Text of the 2001 Authorization for Use of Military Force "against those responsible for the recent attacks launched against the United States", which Ron Paul voted FOR.)

So -- say anything you want about Iraq; but if you will retract your false claims with regard to Ron Paul in reference to the 9/11 attacks, I'll retract my charge that you are Willfully Violating the Ninth Commandment (Roman Catholic Eighth) against Bearing of False Witness.

If you do not, my charge stands. Bearing of False Witness is UnChristian: a Sin.

Nope. Ron Paul has already left that hangar, and is climbing:

Clinton, Giuliani lead in national polling (RON PAUL NOW UP TO 6% amongst Republican Women!)

If al-Qaeda and the other terrorists take over in Iraq, anyone who assisted the democratically elected government will end up being slaughtered.

The Terrorist Wahhabi Sunnis of Al-Queda, and their hated enemies the Terrorist Al-Dawa and SCIRI Shi'ite Thug-Regime of Iraq, will quite probably slaughter eachother with robust vigor absent our distracting presence.

And when I see Sunni Terrorists and Shi'ite Terrorists killing eachother, I don't see it as a cause for panic. More like a cause for beer and peanuts.

He's at the top of the PajamasMedia poll with a growing margin.

I love it. The Paulists have taken the fight the enemy and are winning. Victor "Pangloss" Hanson can't get no respect these days even on his own site!

Pajamas is Victor Hanson's website?

That is kinda amusing. Thanks for the bemused chuckle.

I can't believe that web space is taken up with this stuff. Paul is the punch line of a bad joke.

Since you have volunteered to take up even more web space discussing him, what does that make you?
