Continuing his courtship of conservatives, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is running radio ads on the popular talk radio shows hosted by Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.
"My campaign is about leadership and optimism," Giuliani says in the ad. "We need strong leadership to stay on offense in the war against terrorists." (Listen to the ad here.)
He also highlights his support for "supply side policies and reduced government spending" to "keep the economy growing."
The commercial ends with a plug for his campaign site -- joinrudy2008.com.

"And now a word from my sponsor, Rudy's Chris Steakhouse..."
lol
Between that and pimping his own books, it's 3/4 of his show.
I loathe Sean Vanity.
I don't hate him; I just gave up on listening to him. He reminds me of the loudmouth at the bar who is a living testament to the fact that a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing. Regardless of who he's talking to, he believes he knows just a little bit more than the other person, about any subject. When Sean got in the kerfuffle with Fr. Euteneuer a few weeks ago, and tried to lecture a conservative Roman Catholic priest on Catholic doctrine regarding birth control, he was like that same bar loudmouth at 2:00 a.m. When put on the spot, Sean showed his true colors, and they weren't pretty.
Fred Thompson was ahead of Hillary in the last poll I saw last week. He's pro-life and pro-second amendment and can win. So, why aren't you supporting him if you're pro-life and pro-second amendment instead of someone that is pro-abortion and gun grabber? It doesn't make sense.
Ronald Reagan was given no chance in the mid-1970s of being President. He never would have been elected if conservatives espoused the same lack of confidence you just did.
Someone serving in the US Senate for eight years lacks experience? Being a US Senator isn't a higher position of authority than serving as a mayor?
And, the idea the Thompson doesn't have the fire to run because he is strategically building up momentumn before he announces is an equally ridiculous contention.
This same thread was run yesterday. Maybe Vannity, you know, the guy that has the pen grafted to his RINO hand, may be for him.
This is to make it look like Rush is supporting Rudy.
Rush said he would no longer carry RINO water after 2006. He did not say he would start carrying RINO sh*t.
Any lame excuse for a "pro-life, second-amendment" advocate to sell out those principles and others to support a liberal Republican apparently will do.
