Is Jim Webb Unhinged?--Freep Poll (Vanity)

Fox news covered some of Sen. Webb's press conference yesterday in which he discussed the circumstances surrounding the arrest of one of his assistants for posession of a weapon and ammunition on the capital grounds. Being a former infantry soldier, I cut Sen. Webb a lot of slack because he has seen combat up close and was awarded the Navy Cross. However, he did seem a little...too intense at the interview and it appeared he was hanging a subordinate out to dry, which we military guys don't like even though it happens all the time.
So, what do you think fellow freepers?

His face is begining to look like one of those singing raisins from the 80s. "Heard it from the grapevine...ohohhhh!"

I think his toupee is definetly coming unglued.

P.S. I told as many Virginians as possible that it would be a big mistake to elect him. Too many of them didn't listen.

That is a deer in the headlights if I've ever seen one. Webb was so eager to play with the big kids, and now he's finding out how fun it is. Not. He seems to be distancing himself from this long-time aide who actually campaigned for him; let the guy sit in a DC jail (think Third World country) for more than a day, apparently didn't do much to get him out. The people of Virgnia have elected themselves a schmuck. I vote for unhinged.

Yep, the guy is a real piece of art. But we knew he was unhinged when he rhetorically hoisted the boy up, didn't we?

Do not think his Military credentials should override his politics; but yes, saw the same. Surprised, but 'barely' that the Libs on the Fox circuit last night, saw a different Jim. . .'addressing the issue forthrightly'. . .rather than his 'hanging out' his Aide to dry on this one.
But the truth of the matter, as per usual, I might add. . .does not favor Jim Webb. His explanation was vague; words that gave no meaning to the substance were thrown in and around so that his 'story' as shared gave no clarification, rather only obfuscation of what really happened here.

Dude, we knew that before he was elected. We all said so. The greatest tragedy was what the WaPo did to George Allen.
He makes McCain look sane.
I don't call him Senator Ass for nothing.
