You should be more respectful! I hear that Zim is the "breadbasket of Africa!"

And what was so bad about Rhodesia that it had to be changed into this?

Yes, I should be more respectful. It's sad to watch teh country self destruct over the last number of years. Every decision by Mugabe has been a slow death sentence for the country.

The 5 round limit is to prevent a military coup.

The sad truth is that Africa should be able to feed itself. YOu can thank the disastrous effect of government policy, continued conflicts and disease for the continued cycle of famine.

government policy, continued conflicts and disease for the continued cycle of famine. And the first cause is the primary reason for the second two.

maybe the police will smarten up and fire upon Mugabe.

I have never been a "gun nut". I have a buddy in the FBI that I love so much I went to a range with him once, and shot six rounds...that's how close I am to guns. It would take Muslims on my lawn to get me to own one. But I am an absolute defender of the Second Amendment, and places like Zimbabwe are the reason why. Robert Heinlein said "an armed society is a polite society." The reason there is a Mugabe is that his buddies have all the guns.

If the Left wants to see a real fascist society, the present Zimbabwe is a fine example. But they're so immersed in their leftist cant, they would never recognize Mugabe's society as such.

I am continually reminded of Stevie Wonder's "Master Blaster", he has a line in it, "Peace has come to Zimbabwe". I still like his music, but he's just another liberal idiot.

There will be a news conference very very soon where the following will speak out against the oppression of blacks in Zimbabwe:
Harry Belafonte, John Conyers, Charles Rangel, Sheila Jackson Lee, William J. Jefferson, Eddie Bernice Johnson, Barbara Lee, Barack Obama, Maxine Waters, Jesse L. Jackson, Jr. and Alcee L. Hastings.
All will speak out against this horrid civil rights travesty and demand that Mugabe step down and that the US do something about it, including boycotting companies that do business in South Afri...er...Zimbabwe.
Later, pigs will fly.
