IF THE CHAOTIC immigration raid in New Bedford earlier this month troubled you, we have news: Immigration and Customs Enforcement, also known as ICE, is just getting warmed up.
We know this because the New Bedford raid was part of a frighteningly ambitious plan laid out by the Department of Homeland Security in 2003 -- and it hasn't received nearly enough scrutiny.
The plan is called Endgame, and its details are available online on our group's website (www.aclum.org/endgame.pdf). It's a 10-year campaign to track down and deport all the immigrants to the United States who are living and working here without proper documentation, by the year 2012.

Endgame? If there is such an operation, someone needs to tell the administration and the congress.

There is no way to expel 12 million people without terrorizing and compromising the civil liberties of anyone who "looks foreign." Even US citizens, as well as immigrants who are here legally, will live with the fear of arrest.
The entire article is a lot of hyperbolic fluff wrapped around the single argument above. The argument in and of itself is a reasonable one, specifically "how does one enforce the law without inconveniencing the innocent"? The author would have us believe it can't and shouldn't be done. I disagree.

Current time is 3:30 pm EST. I will now keep the time until the perpetrators who leaked this information to the MSM are brought up on charges. The clock is likely to reach infinity, but might as well try, right?

Would that there was such a plan. If there is, ICE better step it up a bit.

"We know this because the New Bedford raid was part of a frighteningly ambitious plan laid out by the Department of Homeland Security in 2003 -- and it hasn't received nearly enough scrutiny. - the Boston Globe" That homosexual infested rag doesn't have the moral authority to report on the weather, let alone illegal immigration policies. Half the staff of the Boston Globe are infected with AIDS, and the other half are so liberal that they think Helen Thomas is a conservative.

Better not let Bush find out. Ohhhhhhhh, wait... by 2012 Shamnesty will have passed so there won't be any illegals left to deport.

Right. Getting rid of 20 million criminals that cost us $68,000,000,000.00 annually, who have laid waste to the southern states, and who spit on our laws and our flag is truly a "frightening" plan that "deserves more scrutiny". Frightening only if you're here illegally... and deserving of more scrutiny because it needs to be celebrated in the streets.

Here is the report as posted on the ICE website. If the Admin and Congress missed it, they didn't look.
It all looks pretty good to me, I'm not sure what ACLU Mass is worried about. They are not targeting citizens at all, just illegals, through many channels simultaneously.

We'll see more people's rights trampled...
I read as far as this sentence, and couldn't stomach any more. The ACLU is communist, evil, illegitimate, biased. They are wholly irrational, utterly absurd, worshippers of the zero.

I wish there was a program such as endgame.
Has the government and these civil(?) rights groups never heard of the word illegal?
After we deport all of them we need to make sure they don't come back. MA DEUCES on the border maybe.
Really I don't have a thing against immigrants, as long as they go through the legal process. I would even be for an increase in the number allowed.
However if anyone is caught here illegaly they should NEVER be allowed back in this country.
