The stripper was fried so bad she didn't know who she was or where she was and cried rape to keep from being tossed in the funny farm, for real. At that point, the psycho DA, the leftist faculty of Duke, and the bigoted idiots who vote in Durham NC got into the act and Fong apparently had meetings with black leaders at NCCU in Durham in which they pretty much agreed on the bargain of an election for prosecuting the three innocent preppies.
Turn the proposition around, i.e. have a psycho DA meet with klansmen and agree on some election for three lynchings of innocent black kids kind of deal and then have the guy get reelected with 95% of the white vote, and the FBI would be straight down on top of it like flies on ****.
But the biggest villains in the picture are the black leaders and the people of Durham.
Duke is in big trouble. They're looking at legal liabilities big enough to shut the place down, and the whole world now knows not to send kids to school in or even near Durham NC.

The action by Obama is purely racist.
Obama sees that the writing on the wall says Nifong is a racist who plotted the whole case to appeal to the racists blacks in Durham. The dropping of the case will cast the black community in bad light.
To a person depending on looking good and being black, he must oppose the Nifong action. It is a purely racist action.

"They're looking at legal liabilities big enough to shut the place down." That is a big problem. It looks like the school prosecuted the 'kids' before a trial...and then, there's the stupid letter from the 88 professors. Duke will be hurt but they'll survive.

A Federal investigation can cause one other thing to be done to Nifong other than his being disbarred--it can cause him to be prosecuted criminally under the civil rights statutes. That's a very big thing since prosecutors are normally legally immune from any legal consequences for actions they take in the course of their employment. Equally important, such a prosecution opens up the possibility of successful civil actiions against Nifong by the three victims of his persecution.

ABC News has learned that similar requests have been made by Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., and Rep. Tom Feeney, R-Fla.Hooray Jones, Franks, Feeney and Obama!
