For a second I thought this was news from someone's home in San Francisco. But it's much worse than that.

Yeah, and this from the party that was going to reform earmarks. Pork is like heroin to politicians.
To: kabar
No, when the Senate fails in passing their version of this, the House and Senate will both quickly pass a supplemental without all the fluff and Bush will sign it.
This is pure politics.

Jones is a good man, but if I recall correctly, he has a U of North Carolina campus in his district or close to it. So he has libs attacking him on Iraq.

Holy crap!
Dennis Kucinich (D-Looneyville) voted NO to keep consistent on his anti-funding the troops record.

I'm interested in the shameful $124 billion in pork. Anybody have a list and associated culprits?

Because it doesn't go far enough. They are in bed with CODEPINK and CODEPINK was against this bill.

I'm surprised Heath Shuler voted Yes (so much for the Blue Dog Dem label). If our side has any skill at all, getting rid of him in '08 should be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Jones is a good man...An odd statement, given his treasonous action today.

The supplemental will come under the same kind of politicial attack. I recall Obey's exchange with the Code Pink types outside his office.
