Time will tell. Colin Powell didn't run, Rudy is in the race. You're comparing apples and oranges.

"What's more, the survey found, public attitudes are drifting toward Democrats' values: Support for government aid to the disadvantaged has grown since the mid-1990s, skepticism about the use of military force has increased and support for traditional family values has decreased."

What would really be interesting to find out is the dollar value of the constant propaganda the MSM has been grinding out since the Mid-1990s.

Given the constant drum beat of misinformation it is not surprising that only the old timers remember about family values.

"Right wing social agenda?" YOU'RE the one who brought up immigration. Interesting, considering Rudy spoke out against further immigration statistics and bragged about NYC being a sanctuary city. McCain has been all over the place on that issue.

Funny you never mentioned it in your previous posts to me. But I do know that immigration is a major issue of concern to most Americans. But as a year and a half of polls showed, most Americans consistently wanted strong borders...and legalization and/or guest worker programs for those already here. I believe most of the candidates with any chance of nomination are in relative agreement on these two points.
