You quote an un-named source that says that Moussa Magassa was the husband of both women but numerous news stories name two different fathers of two different families. Moussa Magassa, who was on a business trip in his native Mali and Mamadou Soumare, who was driving a cab at the time of the fire....two families, not polygamy. But you know different. What are your sources?

The conditions under which these people lived, way too many people living in a small crowded space, faulty space heater, is partially responsible.

It is a tragedy when children die needlessly. It is the irresponsible parents who are to blame.

You are right, it is a huge problem in France. It is bankrupting the social services of the government, and causing great resentment among the working French, who do not get as much money working a full time job, as do these illegals and their multiple wives and children.

* Note Although France does not recognize polygamy and multiple wives, it does recognize the children. It is not unusual for one man to collect benefits for 14 -20 children.
