I'm getting pretty skeptical of Drudge's developing stories. Especially since so many of them never get ....developed. And if a story gets published by the MSM then Drudge can say he reported it first. ....even though he only posted a headline.

the link for this one on drudges page is nothing more than a refresh button.....at least right now......WTH, it increases his total number of "hits" on his site, right?
lefties play games like that with google to get the articles that suit their agenda, so drudge could also benefit by placing refresh buttons "developing".......???

Never mind. Anyway, I doubt very seriously that American troops would be deserting. If it is Iraqis, I think it's problematic. If it's the Kurds, I don't think it should come as a surprise. There was a story in January about Kurds refusing to fight in Baghdad and I doubt it has anything to do with cowardice.

If it were Americans, I would agree but I would hope for some harsh punishment. If Iraqis are deserting, then I think we're going to have to re-think our strategy of "standing the Iraqis up". That's if there's anything here to begin with.
