So if i were to tell someone to lay off the crack and make racial slurs towards them, would that be considered a personal attack worthy of banishment?

Its a common tactic of those losing a tit for tat banter on a forum to start policing grammar and spelling.

It is common knowledge for most FR posters that if you are gonna insult someone's intelligence, make sure your post is grammatically correct or else the insult blows up in your face. BWAHAHA!

I agree halfway with you. You are funny - but not on purpose.

"Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do.

... The fact is that we're fooling people if we suggest to them the solutions to these very, very deep-seated problems are going to be found in government. " Rudy Giuliani

Let's see, Rudy says all people must surrender to a lawful authority. Then he says, even if all human beings do as told and surrender to authority (govt), that they have no reason to expect that authority to whom they surrendered themselves to help them.

This guy is a sociopath.

Since you asked directly:

I've been told by a RINO lover on this board that I was on drugs and other worse things and they're still around. So I guess that isn't ban worthy according to the PTB.

However, Saying something like "STFU. Your an idiot" is the definition of a personal attack.

Observation: You seem unable to control your temper. You don't seem to be able to take on the issues or even the techniques of a debater. Since yesterday when you revealed your liberal bent you've done little more than resort to 3rd grade "you're a doodiehead" type snips at me and others. If you don't want to take on the issues themselves and just want to snip at other posters in these, perhaps you should stay out of them because your rising level of childishness will get you in trouble sooner or later.

"A great deal of discretion" is an ambiguous term. Rudy did not believe that bums had the right to spit on your windshield and intimidate you into paying them to clean it. He didn't believe that drug dealers should be allowed to stand openly on a street corner and sell their wares. He didn't believe in a lot of the supposed "freedoms" that the NYC liberals were even fed up with after the Dinkins Administration. However, he greatly valued the freedom to be safe in one's home and on the streets.

I appreciate that you are trying to make the point that Rudy as POTUS will take away our precious freedoms because he is a fascist at heart. That's the current elite NYC lib trope. However, you have picked a very weak foundation on which to base your argument.

I am much more concerned about Hillary taking away my freedom to earn a living, and about the islamofascists taking away my most basic freedoms. Flashbunny, you need to get a sense of perspective.

Thomas Jefferson:
"The care of human life and happiness, and not their destruction, is the first and only object of good government."

"I have no fear that the result of our experiment will be that men may be trusted to govern themselves without a master."

"Men fight for freedom, then they begin to accumulate laws to take it away from themselves." ~Author Unknown

"Threads like this warm my heart."

I was reminded somewhat of my more usual hangout - the religion forum - where I sometimes find myself in the unenviable position of standing between Catholics and Protestants, blazing pitchforks and everything.

*Sniff*

Pass the popcorn, please.

Her is a thought, maybe if you anti-Rudy types spent half the time you spend on trashing Rudy, getting your guys message out…maybe then you wouldn’t have to spend so much time trashing Rudy. As it stands, Rudy’s name is a household word. Duncan Hunter is a nobody. I’m not knocking the guy, he just is. Maybe he does have a good message, maybe he is the best candidate, but will the average joe ever know it? Will the ever hear it? Surely he would be better served having his cheerleaders actually cheer for him, instead of just booing his opposition?

Look at my profile page for just 6 quotes about rudy and guns. There are many more that are sure to be unearth. His "great deal of discretion" infringes on the 2nd amendment at his whim.

And it's not just the NY lib troupe. Anybody who gives a damn about the first amendment should take a look at his record on losing cases on those grounds. That again is troubling. Add that his support for CFR and you get an even broader picture of his meaning of "discretion." It's more power to the government to keep the people in check - the law abiding get lumped in with the criminals.

I'm not going to support one liberal with an (R) next to their name just because I'm afraid of another liberal with a (D) next to their name. Pretty much everywhere it's been done it ends in various degrees of disaster.

"Surely he would be better served having his cheerleaders actually cheer for him, instead of just booing his opposition?"

People can do both.

BTW, sean hannity the rudy fan has a little poll on his website. His favorite boy is coming in 3rd behind two people who haven't even entered the race. Perhaps you should do more supporting of rudy and his positions than just attacking the people who are against rudy.

Results: What GOP candidate are you most likely to vote for even if they have not announced yet?

1. Newt Gingrich 16.76%
2. Rudy Giuliani 11.67%
3. Mike Huckabee 1.32%
4. Sec. of State Condi Rice 4.32%
5. Sen. Sam Brownback 1.93%
6. Sen. Fred Thompson 54.27%
7. Sen. John McCain 1.81%
8. Gov. Mitt Romney 7.92%

"btw, WHO is Duncan Hunter?"

He's the nightmare of every Liberal in this Country.

He's more integrity and honor in his pinky than any of the Front Runners of both parties all combined.

No, I'm trying to get you to behave like an adult who can actually address the issues instead of resorting to 3rd grader tactics.

Can you do that?

Or, how about this for Rudy, "My rights to infringe upon you cease at the end of my fingertips. Sorry you just happen to be under my rule of thumb."

Another lame-assed talking point served up at barely room temperature.

Some of us can multi-task. And IMO is it critical for the health of the Republic and of the Republican Party that Rudy not become the nominee.

If you have to try that hard to justify Rudy's comments, especially in light of his past words and especially his actions, you've already made the point for us.

Rudy said it and he meant it.
Trying to explain it away with nonexistent context won't work either.

Rudy IS a authoritarian and his views on our Second Amendment rights are just one example.

He's perfect for NYC, but bad for America.
