SAN RAFAEL: Immigration raids anger advocate

Canal district leader says enforcement violates civil rights -

A community advocate in San Rafael voiced outrage Tuesday over the handling of federal immigration raids this month in which agents arrested dozens of people, in some cases arriving at homes before dawn and identifying themselves as police.

"This is a huge civil rights issue," said Tom Wilson, executive director of the Canal Alliance, who called a press conference Tuesday evening in the city's largely immigrant Canal district where many of the raids were carried out.

"This is a story of federal officers coming into people's homes without a search warrant, taking people into custody without an arrest warrant," Wilson said. "They use intimidation."

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials say they are executing warrants for the arrest of immigrants who have committed crimes and illegal immigrants who have ignored final deportation orders.

Tim Aitken, deputy director of immigration's detention and removal office in San Francisco, said that when agents -- in the course of serving deportation warrants -- encounter other people who they suspect are illegal immigrants, they arrest them as well.

Well it sounds like they are preparing for another huge nationwide protest. I have a hunch it will be sometime in April. If not most likely the first week of May.

I feel that those who support open borders do NOT support the poor Mexicans that choose family over money. Those who support the Mexican Government's "Leave The Country For Jobs" Economic Policy are only hurting the Mexican people. Those who support illegals are responsible for the fact that Thais and Vietnamese who apply for a VISA (the old fashion way - the legal way) are told they have less than a 5 per cent chance of actually getting accepted due to the huge burden of illegals already in this country.

I hope they return back to their wives and children in Mexico or whatever nation they came from. There they can work to improve the situation in their own country just as black Americans and Republicans did back in the 1960s. Black Americans didnt just leave their nation when things were not going well for them. Neither should the Mexicans be forced to leave their homes just because they have a leadership that's failing them.

I've heard some say that family values do not stop at the Rio Grande. Unfortunately, there are many on the other side who disagree.

From the women and children of Mexico....
.....to the people of the U.S.A.

I am against another amnesty, open borders and illegal immigration because I care for both my American culture and for the people who chose to either stay home with their family in their own country OR have chosen to migrate the legal way.

From article:

"This is a story of federal officers coming into people's homes without a search warrant, taking people into custody without an arrest warrant," Wilson said. "They use intimidation."

Irony.

This is exactly what it feels like to be a legal resident/citizen, having illegals entering the country and receiving financial benefits coming out of my paycheck of which Dems continue to demand more of.

Between the tapdance of the joint alliance of Dems and illegals, it feels "intimidating".

How do you get that "community advocate" label? A newspaper guy just gives it to you and suddenly you have credibility?
Are we all "spokesmen", "advocates","activists"etc., or just the people that say what the MSM wants to hear?
Another alternate headline: Some guy in California doesn't like a law that's in place.Nice of the media to give him a soapbox.

GOOD!
I hope they STAY outraged!
There's no upside in keeping those clowns happy.

A concept that applies equally to the likes of Kennedy.
