"As I was leaving he was standing in the gas station yelling "Sieg Heil" and giving me the Nazi salute.""Sieg Heil" must be this week's liberal talking points - the local liberal at work was braying the same BS. In fact, two weeks ago, he was foaming at the mouth about the very same issues. Sounds like moveon.org has the loonies all foaming at the mouth.
Sue him - he has NO right to touch you. NONE!

Wow...and in Simi Valley? Must have been a moonbat passing through, probably stoned out of his mind or something...too bad you didn't have the green beret guy with you at the time!

I would have had fun with the guy. I would have said "Well what's a nice enlightened liberal like you doing in a gas station? Don't you know that every gallon of gas you buy supports the Bush/Halliburton war machine? What would Al Gore think? Why don't you guys buy some bicycles and practice what you preach instead of polluting our environment with these fossil fuels?"

Somehow I want to know about a follow-up on this. Please follow through with all legal action, complaints and so forth that you can. This guy is crazy and he needs some consequences. Do it!

Maybe the gas station has a video cam on it's pumps?
Anyway, I'm glad you're OK. This is what liberals in America are becoming..rabid dogs.
To: Hi Heels
I think most gas stations these days have security cameras. If the one your were at does, I hope they catch this arse. The security camera should show him grabbing your shoulder.

Your assailant is behaving exactly as he's been programed by the DBM. This is nothing but the labors of Matthews, Olbermann, Stephanopoulos, Blitzter, Gibson and Russert coming to fruition.

Glad you're both okay. Like you said, I am pretty surprised to hear this happened in Simi: the first part of your 'story' seems more symbolic to me :).
However, these days with such hatred spread all over among so many about so many different moonbat issues (Bush/war/terrorism, Katrina, Cuban5/S. American communism, Aztlan/illegals/OBL), you could run into them anywhere.
Let us all know how the police do handle this for you. Excellent thinking on your part to get his plate and call the station about holding the tape. I hope they did!

"People died under Clinton, too, pal, in fact had he finished the job instead of getting a "job" in the oval office, we wouldn't have had to go back,"You rock!
Glad you're safe. Someone approaching and touching you like that would justify a swift kick in the jewels. A couple Jehovah Witnesses started approaching me in a store's parking lot at night, wanting to talk. They got a stern look square on and an "I would appreciate it if you guys didn't come near me." Knuckleheads. My heart kicked in pretty good then. Can't hardly imagine how hard yours was pumping.

You were assualted. That guy touching you and turning you around was a cowardly attack. I am a 48 yr old male and no one but no one has ever done such a thing to me. The only time I ever hear of it being done is from a woman. Prosecute.

I was replying to you earlier in another open browser and forgot about hitting the post button. I was in uniform and had someone try to pay for my fuel when I was driving a government vehicle last year. I thanked the couple but told them I could not accept their offer.
There have been many times I got the middle finger salute when I still had my Bush/Cheney 04 sticker on my pickup. I finally took it off, after a sports car tried to run me off the road about three months ago.

To: Hi Heels
When I lived in LA I was at the gas station at the bottom of my street (San Vicente & Barrington in Brentwood) and was paying for gas when some guy came up and asked me about the 2000 elections and Gore, etc. etc. I said no way I was voting for Gore and he immediately went off spewing all the DNC talking points. I told him I didn't want any Socialists in the White House which provoked him even more. He just wouldn't let up, yelling at me as I walked back to my car. The last thing he said was something about how I couldn't be a Republican because I was only driving a 1991 Honda CRX and it wasn't a rich person's car. I totally enjoyed seeing him all worked up like a rabid dog.

As to the first story, at least in the South it happens all the time. I went to pick up my soon to be husband at the Atlanta airport (he was returning from Brazil) and while I waited a whole group of soldiers came out of the portal - then the civilians. DH told me that a military transport reached customs at the same time as their plane, so all the civilians let the military guys clear first. I've seen people pay for lunch/dinner a number of times. Its happened to my son a number of times - and I return the favor every time I the opportunity presents itself.
As to the second story - I had a similar experience without the hands on part at a truck stop in Knoxville, TN. The outcome was very different, because 3 different men took exception to the nutcase yelling at me. There was a confrontation between the nutcase and an x-marine (who was fueling his RV) and a couple of truck drivers who saw the incident. I went inside, when I came out of the building, the Highway Patrol was there and the nutcase was under arrest. It went to court too and the nutcase was convicted of assault and battery and some other charges. The nutcase was from New Jersey - took offense to my "My son is serving in the US Army" bumper sticker.

If it were me, the guy would have been ignored flat out from his first comment of "Hows that vote working out"
I do this often, people say something to me I would rather not discuss, I flat out ignore them and go about my business, all the time watching them just in case.
If he touched me, I probably would have got in some kind of trouble.. lol but he would have been decked right there.
Don't let these jerks verbally abuse you, put them in their place right away.. once you yell at them MOST of the time they slink away.
I know.. I had to yell at a few leftists when I lived in California

Just damn. If you're ever assaulted like that again, don't forget that if you're holding an active hose, drenching the guy in gasoline might not be a bad idea, depending on how ugly it's getting.
