No details yet....
OK. I let one go by but not two. If the boy had not been found alive, that does not change the presence or goodness of God.
Thank you God....
Just waiting for some liberal moonbat to claim the boy would have been better off living in the wild with the animals than living with his human Christian Boyscout supporting parents.
Thanks for the comments. I believe the Scouts have made my son the man he is today. He's only 19, but more of a man than his father will ever be. Thanks again.

McGRADY, N.C. -- A missing 12-year-old Boy Scout has been found alive in the North Carolina mountains, a National Park ranger at the scene confirms.
Michael Auberry was found by rescue crews shortly after 11 a.m., said Tina White, National Park ranger. White said she learned the boy was found by radio, but did not know further details.
The incident commander, park ranger David Bauer, told a CNN producer in the command center that the boy "walked out on his own."
Tina White, the spokesperson for the National Park Service confirmed that saying that rescuers were preparing to walk Michael out on the trail.
"We expected him at the least to be weak and dehydrated but we're all smiling now because we're very optimistic that we'll soon be able to confirm this officially," said White.
She said the story would be confirmed when Michael was taken to the incident commander and he was able to confirm the report for himself.
The incident commander and Michael Auberry's parents were on their way to meet them about a mile and a half from the camp, White said.
When White said officials had received word from searchers that Michael Auberry had been found, it set off a celebration among leaders of several Scout troops waiting for news about the boy. White left a staging area shortly after 11 a.m. to go to the scene and try and confirm the report.
Great News!
Thank God!
I remember how the democrats booed the Boy scouts at the 2000 DNC....I'll send them a sympathy card. They must be upset over this great news.
LOL That was MY first impulse after seeing the movie. Be cool if they bring him back to the command post and he's wearing a wolf skin for warmth. I'll bet the media would turn on him and feed him to PETA.
Yes it's true he stayed behind that morning while others went on a long hike. A scout official stayed at camp as well. An intervening event happened before he wandered off, however. The hikers returned and they ALL ate lunch together. It was just as lunch time was ending that he walked away from camp. My impression was nobody was looking at him when he did that, or else they wouldn't have let him go even a short distance without a buddy and knowing where he was headed.
did they find him in Velma's trailer?
Get real, everything is done by God! Don't get me going on you people who do not know that. Only answer is some day you WILL!
"I think there is a lot more to this story than just a kid wondering off."
Yes, and after I read post #80, I'm saying, "Huh?"
Am I misunderstanding something?
Thank goodness! No doubt his training as a boy scout helped him get by and keep his cool. Keeping a cool head is really so important in getting out of most jams!
Thank God that the young man is safe and sound! :-)

He was found near the campsite, and he is weak from lack of food and water
Nope, you're good on age. 10 if they have Arrow of Light, 11 otherwise.
Congratulations on your Webelo. I had one crossover two weeks ago too.
The new adventure begins.
BTW, I've already downloaded some kids survival guides that I'm going to start teaching to my Wolf Den.
Prayers answered! How wonderful!
Thank You Jesus. Nothing is lost in Your kingdom!
