No, it was probably that not enough people picked Thompson. He still does not have a large amount of name recognition except with the die hard Republicans.

You are very loose with the interpretations, aren't you? Fred Thompson has never suggested a "safe haven" for illegal border invaders, as Rudy did in New York City. FT also wants to secure the borders.

He also identifies a marriage as "between and man and a woman" but so far I have not heard where Thompson thinks a homosexual civil union is completely acceptable, as Julie-Annie does.

I can guarantee you that the pollsters don't even offer Fred Thompson's name as a choice.

To be honest I don't know why they don't include Thompson when they do include Newt. I agree that it is not fair. The should include both. We are in agreement on that.

Hardly. This is a whopper that ranks with the claim that Rudy and Duncan Hunter have the same position on PBA bans. Rudy's past belies him in both cases.

The fact that Giuliani is the only candidate in either party who more people would definitely vote for than against is very significant. HUGE!
