You've been there giving him so much support, haven't you?
Why don't you give him a few more shoves and see if you get your wish.

Just once I want someone in this Administration to stand up and FIGHT BACK.It's not going to happen. The only thing Bush really fights for is the "rights" of illegal aliens and anything else that Mexico wants him to do.

Cheney will be the next one thrown overboard.
Except that Cheney was put there by the voters. Bush only recommended him for the position. Cheney goes when Cheney wants to, or when his term is up.

As I said to another....If Gonzales leaves it will be because he cannot take the heat (personally). He will not be fired. But if he can't take the heat.....he needs to go. That pay grade doesn't allow the luxury of needing one's hand held during tough times.

Honestly, I don't listen to Rush. I haven't since he "set himself free" after the last election. But about once a month, I hold my nose, and press the AM button....just to see what the fat blowhard is saying. I did that today. And what did I hear? An anti-Bush rant about how he should have completely fired all the US attorneys ala the clintons.
Personally, I hold Rush accountable for losing the Senate seat in the state of Missouri, with his attack on Michael J. Fox. If you study the election returns closely, you will see that there was an anti-Limbaugh vote in this state that amounted to 2 %. Limbaugh had a brother who was on the ballot in the Supreme Court, and he got 2% less than the rest of the judges on the state-wide ballot.
That 2% was all we needed to win that Senate seat, and hold the Senate. So, no. I don't hold Rush Limbaugh in much esteem, and never will. Maybe he ought to stick to golf.

Cheney will be the next one thrown overboard. I'm afraid the Bush presidency is over.I doubt Cheney will be thrown overboard. He's about the only Republican at this juncture actually calling the Democrats on their outrageous nonsense. He doesn't even refer to Pelosi as "House Speaker", but simply "Mrs.".

At least he won't get a Supreme Court Nomination now.

Don't count on it... He will probably put someone like Janet the Dike Reno to show that he is sensitive to the heavy left....
You can rest assure you will NOT see a White Christian Male like Ted Olson. I like Ted, but I highly doubt it.

My question is (and has been): WHY? I'm not buying the idea that they are tired or scared. OK, perhaps they are tired and scared, but it in no way explains this behavior. Not at all.Agree 100 percent. Bush is not like this. Something has been wrong for a while but we may not find out till he is out of office. Great fear about something there. It really concerns me.

Those worried about GW becoming a lame duck don't have to worry. Now, he appears to be a flopping flounder on dry land.

And how can he spend capital while he's been stabbed in the back and undercut by people who are more worried about being reelected than the country?

When dealing with democrats, apologies are ALWAYS the sign of weakness they're soliciting. It doesn't bode well when one is apologizing for something Democrats made up.

CFR was a long time ago. If I recall correctly, Bush signed CFR willingly, but said that he thought SCOTUS would throw it out. If he believed that it was unconstitutional, he should have taken his stand and vetoed it. Instead, he relied on others to do what he had the power to do.

according to party sources familiar with the discussions
An unnamed source seems to have caused a lot of supposedly intelligent people to freak out...glad were are letting our emotions rule...wouldn't want those pesky verifiable facts to get in the way of a good meltdown.
