The slow pace of New Orleans' post-Katrina recovery is part of a plan to change the city's racial makeup, Mayor Ray Nagin told a national newspaper publishers' group last week.
According to The Washington Post, Nagin made those remarks at a dinner meeting Thursday of the National Newspaper Publishers Association, a trade group for newspapers that target black readers. He told editors and publishers that the slow recovery is part of a plan to change the racial makeup, and hence the political leadership, of the city.

Nagin thinks the hurricane recovery is deliberately slow as part of a plan to reduce the number of blacks in the city. Since Nagin is the mayor, he should know all about it. He probably also thinks that Katrina was caused by Donald Trump, so Trump could buy land cheap in NOLA. LOL. "Nagin" should be used in the dictionary to define the word "idiot". The recovery is slow in large part because thousands of people don't want to live there anymore.

Good grief. Can you imagine the uproar if this were a white mayor complaining that the city would have fewer whites? Why doesn't someone call him out for the racist that he is?
To: pleikumud
Nagin's wrong... The slow recovery is a plot to allow for the construction of an even bigger hurricane magnet. Once that device is finished, Democrats will be allowed back into the city.

His "slaves"(read: black voters), have abandoned him. He don't like it. Not looking to good for the next election. His "people" have found greener pastures elsewhere. Why go back and live under his rule?

"Ladies and gentlemen, what happened in New Orleans could happen anywhere," Nagin told the association. "They are studying this model of natural disasters, dispersing the community and changing the electoral process in that community."
"I, to this day, believe if it happened in Orange County, Calif., or South Beach, Fla., it wouldn't have happened," Nagin said, referring to the stranding of thousands of people in New Orleans without food, water and other relief supplies.

You're wrong, Nagin. It's that many of the people see what an incompetent you are and are going to live somewhere else where they are not kept down so that they will continue to vote dem.

"The slow pace of New Orleans' post-Katrina recovery is part of a plan to change because of the socialist philosophy ingrained into generations of the city's racial mulitcultural makeup, Mayor Ray Nagin told a national newspaper publishers' group last week. Why work to better themselves and their lives when welfare and government services will feed and house them, take care of their every need? But don't expect the TRUTH to ever be said, especially from democrats.

"City's makeup altered intentionally"Is Nagin implying God is racist?
