It looks like a three way dog fight is emerging between Rudy, McCain, and Romney. As a Romney fan it looks like the advertising in selected states like NH an MI are working.

Makes some sense...MI trends liberal, doesn't it?
Why wouldn't they prefer someone like McCain/Feingo...I'm sorry, did I let that slip?

Michigan has open primaries. Wonder if just republicans were polled or all voters......or adults.

No debates with all the GOP candidates means no votes.

Sorry, Romney is at 21% not 20. Anyway, here is the poll question:
If you were to vote in a Republican presidential primary or caucus in Michigan, which of the following candidates who have already announced or may announce they are running would you vote for if the election were held today? [READ & ROTATE 1-5 BELOW]
30%
John McCain
26%
Rudy Giuliani
21%
Mitt Romney
16%
Newt Gingrich
2%
Fred Thompson [volunteered]
1%
Sam Brownback
4%
Undecided

Open primaries are bad in years where one party has a contested primary and the other party does not as a lot of hanky panky can go on.
This year with both parties nomination being contested, I think the open primaries are a good thing as the independent who votes in the primary will also vote in the general and they get their voice heard too.

Who cares... FR is becoming a pathetic joke these days...
Bunch of paid staffers running around pimping their guy by trashing the rest of the field.
And post about it, and it gets pulled in 30 seconds.
What a shame...

So clearly this included dem voters too. I remember when they crossed into the repub primary in droves to vote for McC once before.

No complaints here and I am not paid--just a guy with a severe online addiction. Pimp your respective candidate and make the case that he or she is the best for the cause. Let's hash out the good and the bad. I think that open, honest and spirit debate is the American way and help us choose the most conservative electable candidate which in my opinion is Mitt Romney!
How's this for a pimp?
