On Tuesday, Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), a 2020 candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination, asked Trump judicial nominee Neomi Rao if she considered homosexual relationships to be sinful. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) immediately called Booker out on this line of questioning. Booker seized on Rao's 2008 article opposing the Supreme Court decision Lawrence v. Texas, which decriminalized homosexual activity. He then directly asked her, "Are gay relationships in your opinion immoral?" "I am not sure the relevance of that," Rao responded. "Do you think gay relationships are immoral?" he continued. "I do not," Rao said. "Do you believe they are...

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker on Friday declared his bid for the presidency in 2020 with a sweeping call to unite a deeply polarized nation around a “common purpose.” The New Jersey Democrat, who is the second black candidate in a primary field that’s already historically diverse, delivered his message of unity amid an era marked by bitter political division. “I believe that we can build a country where no one is forgotten, no one is left behind; where parents can put food on the table; where there are good-paying jobs with good benefits in every neighborhood; where our criminal justice...

It is the first Sunday morning in May 2011... It is Barack Obama's 66th round of golf as president, and as usual, the media and the public aren't invited. Like nearly all of Obama's previous outings, the only witnesses are his playing partners -- a trio of White House staffers -- and a platoon of Secret Service agents... The press corps is forbidden from following the president from hole to hole or even taking his photograph on the course... No president has done more to keep his game a secret. During the 104 rounds Obama has played as president, photographers...

Throughout the late 1980s, Barack Obama dated a half-Dutch, half-Japanese woman two years his junior named Sheila Jager. During a weekend away, his friends caught a glimpse of how passionate a person young Obama could be - and how that passion could get out of hand. The couple "went back and forth, having sex, screaming yelling, having sex, screaming yelling," to the point where those nearby had to move "to the other side of the porch just to be able to talk," according to "Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama," by David J. Garrow, out Tuesday. "Rising Star"...

Before Barack Obama ever met his wife, Michelle, at her Chicago law firm, the future 44th president of the United States asked another woman to marry him in 1986—while the two were visiting her parents' home, a new biography claims. “Rising Star,” which is written by David J. Garrow, was reviewed Tuesday in The Washington Post. The review said, "Garrow portrays Obama as a man who ruthlessly compartmentalized his existence; who believed early on that he was fated for greatness; and who made emotional sacrifices in the pursuit of a goal that must have seemed unlikely to everyone but him."...

Obama Shows His Stupidity In Farewell Speech (Gateway Pundit) – America only has 9 nine days left of Barack Obama and for most American’s those days can’t come-and-go fast enough. In his farewell speech on Tuesday night, Barack Obama once again distorted reality and made outrageous statements. The most idiotic statement of the night came when Obama made this statement: For 240 years, our nation’s call to citizenship has given work and purpose to each new generation. It’s what led patriots to choose republic over tyranny, pioneers to trek west, slaves to brave that makeshift railroad to freedom. It’s what...

A court decision upholding Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim’s conviction on sodomy charges raises “serious concerns about rule of law and the fairness of the judicial system in Malaysia,” the White House said Tuesday. The relatively rare public rebuke over a foreign criminal conviction came despite warming relations between the U.S. and the Malaysian government. President Obama visited the country last year, the first sitting president to do so in nearly half a century.

Barack “Yes we can” Obama has already proven that he’s big on slogans. Leaving behind FORWARD, and of course ‘Hope and Change…We Can Believe In,’ the president’s newest catchphrase is “In the shoes,” which describes loafer-lover Barack Obama attempting to reconnect with everyday Americans by metaphorically slipping into other people’s shoes. To infuse added relatability into his plans to do future ‘in the shoes’ walkabouts, the White House is officially calling Obama’s planned encounters with the unwashed masses a “day-in-the-life” series, wherein the POTUS leaves his billionaire friends and devoted low-maintenance wife behind to venture forth onto the highways and...

President Barack Obama, who established his bona fides as a gay and lesbian rights champion when he endorsed same-sex marriage, has steadily extended his administration’s advocacy to the smallest and least accepted band of the LGBT rainbow: transgender Americans. With little of the fanfare or criticism that marked his evolution into the leader Newsweek nicknamed “the first gay president,” Obama became the first chief executive to say “transgender” in a speech, to name transgender political appointees and to prohibit job bias against transgender government workers. Also in his first term, he signed hate crime legislation that became the first federal...

President Barack Obama will sign an order banning federal government contractors from discriminating against gay and transgender workers, officials have said. The executive order follows years of pressure from gay rights groups. Mr Obama cannot extend the protection to all American workers, however. The order comes after far broader anti-discrimination legislation stalled in the Republican-led House of Representatives. The executive order will apply only to federal contractors, which employ nearly one-quarter of the US workforce.

....Some day, twenty years or so form now, you’re going to just accept as similar fact that actor Kal Penn and President Obama had a romantic relationship that began on the 2008 campaign trail and continued when Obama asked Penn to move to Washington so they could be close to one another and the two could have sex more frequently. Future biographies of President Obama must contain entire chapters devoted to how Penn’s presence in the White House affected and strained Obama’s relationship with longtime “body man” Reggie Love, who friends and acquaintances since his days playing basketball at Duke...

This month, the Obama campaign sent out hundreds of staffers and volunteers to gay pride events around the country in order to sign up more volunteers, reports the New York Times. “Pride is probably the best opportunity to engage the community in large, concentrated numbers,” Jamie Citron, the national L.G.B.T. vote director for the Obama campaign, said to the Times. About six weeks ago, President Obama became a supporter of legal gay marriage. From the Times: [H]undreds of Obama field staff members and volunteers…fanned out at a dozen gay pride celebrations across the country over the weekend with a meticulous...

2008 was an epic year for Africans. A black man, with African roots, won the elections in the most powerful nation in the world. On the day Barack Obama was sworn-in, I was at a beauty shop where a crowd gathered around a 14-inch television to see their ‘brother’, icon and pride swear-in as the first US African American president. Thereafter, we walked with a sense of accomplishment. After all, Obama is not just black, his father was Kenyan. The people of East Africa felt elevated. He is Luo, so the Luo ethnicities in East Africa declared themselves intelligent. Ugandans...

The former England captain his LA Galaxy team mates were lauded at the White House after winning the Major League Soccer Cup, America's equivalent of the Premiership. Turning to the 37-year-old Beckham, Mr Obama described him as "young up-and-comer". To laughter from his team mates, the President said: "I have to say I gave David Beckham a hard time, and told him half the team could be his kids. We're getting old, David.'' But he conceded that the footballer was "holding up better than me" and said it was a " a rare man who can be that tough on...

WASHINGTON, DC, May 5, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - This past Friday, the Obama Administration became the first administration ever to host a meeting at the White House focusing exclusively on the discussion of federal policy related to “transgender†issues. According to a report in the Washington Blade, the meeting, which was hosted by the Office of Public Engagement (OPE), was attended by transgender activists and White House officials from the White House Domestic Policy Council, the Office of Cabinet Affairs, the Office of Public Engagement, and the counsel’s office, among others. The president himself was not in attendance, however. “While transgender...
