This editorial "cartoon" epitomizes the looney left's blind stupidity. What's even more discouraging is that there are several posted comments following the article that are supportive of this world view. I feel like I'm surrounded by morons.

The political cartoonist is often the uber dweeb in the cadre of idiots at a newspaper. Witness Tom Meyer at the SF Chronicle. I'm sure this clown fits the bill.

My letter.........
Sir,
"Confessions" is no such thing.
It should be called "Ignorance" because it demonstrates your incredible willingness to side with the enemies of civilization spreading their propaganda.
How you can look in the mirror escapes me.
I suppose an apology to our people that must deal with these monsters is not going to happen huh?
I guess your missing a few facts....
Tough tactics produce leads

Do you understand that a west coast 9-11 was prevented because people did what had to be done to prevent it? Would YOU prefer yourself, your family sacrificed so terrorists can talk to Dr. Phil instead of interrogators?
Wake up sir.

Several years ago I quit advertising in the Bee and canceled my daily subscription at the same time. Each month when I would write a check for a fair amount of money I would feel like I was sending aid to the enemy. I have called, wrote editorials, even spoke in person to people in charge at the Bee and it was always a total waste of my time. They attempt to make you believe that they are a neutral paper and have no bias, I laughed so hard that they hung up on me. This paper is a joke and a waste of hard earned money. With the Intranet many of us do far more business than ever before and the Bee along with most other papers lose more and more profit each month. May they die a slow painful death, not that slow!

The Bee was nice enough to publish virtually every monthy letter I wrote to the editor, years ago. They were good about letting "the little people" express their conservative views; including my comments that 9/11 was an act of war.
Their editorial view however was that 9/11 was partly our fault, we do not try to "understand" the rest of the world. More or less I suppose, it was a "message" as much as anything else was their opinion.
Within a few weeks after that (late 2001) the publisher of the Bee was booed off the stage at a midterm university graduation ceremony for expressing the exact sentiments of the disgusting cartoon. President Bush and AG Ashcroft were the bad guys, accused terrorists were the victims.
I don't go near their web site much less their rag.

Why "Knuckles"?
I'd go with a torturer nicknamed "Duct Tape."
