I know that many conservatives are also pet owners, such as myself. I have listed the Dog Food brands, but there is a list of Cat Food brands as well found at the Menu Foods website. Just the other day on a conservative talk show, Barbara Simpson of KSFO AM in the San Francisco Bay Area, was discussing how the idiots now want to mark products with a “carbon footprint” reading on the product, but how she is concerned about all this meat that is coming from all over the world from China, Mexico, Timbuktu, and the meat product often isn’t marked with the country of origin. There are consequences to this globalist agenda, be it United States Presidents, Republican or Democratic, who will not close the border with Mexico, the consequences of terrorism taking advantage of agendas that serve global business interests, diseases of all sorts that are entering our country because of the massive influx of illegal aliens who are not inspected, trucks in large numbers entering our country from foreign nations who use low-pay foreign nationals as well as hiring drivers from poverty stricken areas such as India, Sri Lanka, and other parts of Asia (Canada is an example of such hires), vegetable products from Mexico which have heavy pesticides, and countless other examples, and we are not being told the full story nor the potential for serious impact to our social network. In this case, it is pet food, but we really don’t know the extent of it or if it is related to meat products from foreign origin. It may turn out this time to not be related to foreign meat products, but I am not sure that if it were actually related to foreign meat products that we would get the entire story. And, this may not be isolated only to Menu Foods line of products and pet food or if in fact some meat designated for human consumption is possibly impacted.

Perhaps this explains the death of one of my female cats last month and the constant vomiting of the others.
She kept complaining and was getting thinner everyday but I thought it was the fast growing kittens that were already weaned but were still nursing off of her, she died after becoming extremely thin, lethargic after a few days.

I never thought a pet food recall could be related to illegal immigration, but I underestimated the creativity of FReepdom.

About a week ago, both my cats were lethargic and weren't eating anything for about 3 days after I fed them some Sav a Lot cat food. I was starting to get concerned that they weren't eating, so I fed them some tuna, their favorite. They didn't even eat the tuna! I checked the recall list last night and the UPC and date on the can matches what I fed my cat! :(

They're fine now, but they're getting Friskies from now on!

Thanks for posting this list. My dog gets Costco's lamb and rice kibble and the kitty gets Nutro dry cat food. Glad these pet foods are not on the list because my animals are my babies now that the kids are grown. :) Condolences to anyone with a sick pet and best wishes for a speedy recovery. They are so special.

Fortunately my dog never eats dog food, he gets far to much table scraps.

"...an unknown number of animals have suffered kidney failure and about 10 died...."

It's likely closer to 10,000.

My poodle has been sick since Wed. She is going to the vet tomorrow.
We feed her One dry and some form of Alpo wet (plus table scraps).
The last few days home cooked rice and chicken breast.
I didn't see Alpo on the list but I'm wondering.

She has diarrhea but seems chipper .

There's a lot of garbage in pet food. This is what I feed my dog...

I've been feeding my cats mostly Innova Evo dry cat food plus a little bit of canned stuff (including people tuna) and some fresh meat; fortunately, none of the canned stuff I'm using is on the recall lists I've seen so far. Innova Evo is a non-grain, low-carbohydrate cat food (though it does have some potato in it).

I returned a bunch of food....I've been feeding a variety of the foods on the list to both my cats and the feral cats. I'll never know if the ferals get sick.

I know I might be standing out on a limb about this, but, consodering that their are many on this planet that make fun of the western world and the way we treat our pets as almost equals in our families and in our society.

Has it been considered that this may have been an intentional act of violence against western society and culture?

Just wondering.
