Republican Rudy Giuliani is the most appealing presidential contender in the United States, according to a poll by Rasmussen Reports. 31 per cent of respondents say they will definitely vote for the former New York City mayor if he runs for president in 2008.
Democratic New York senator Hillary Rodham Clinton is a close second with 30 per cent, followed by Democratic Illinois senator Barack Obama with 28 per cent, Republican Arizona senator John McCain with 21 per cent, and Democratic former North Carolina senator John Edwards with 20 per cent.
When asked which candidate they would definitely not support in the 2008 presidential ballot, 46 per cent of respondents mention Rodham Clinton. Edwards is second on the list with 39 per cent, followed by Obama with 37 per cent, McCain with 34 per cent, and Giuliani with 28 per cent.

Liz,
Spyder refuses to support his claim, but still expects you to explain it.
Rudy sells out the lives of the unborn pretty cheaply.
"Rudy peaks at about 40%. That is a problem for him.".....
But around here it's not a problem for Duncan Hunter to be stuck at 1%. LOL
Yeah true.. you got me on that one.
You even change the meaning of your own cite to fit your wishes but you refuse to accept it if someone else quotes it. I don't intend to waste any more time on the argument. Find the source for yourself if you don't believe it. I'm sure it's out there.
Resistance is futile, but we'll see what happens after the primaries. I'll tell you one thing. It won't be Duncan Hunter.
That's your final answer? A Rudy-bot named Murdock said so?
Hey, why don't you throw in that you overheard someone saying it in line outside an abortion clinic?
The claim has been made on FR before---but when confronted with the facts, the poster ususally backs down. It's foolish to deny the obvious in the face of irrefutable facts.
But hey, it's hard to make this lisping liberal twit into a credible candidate especially after Rudy found out to his horror that he really needs conservatives.
The Rudy Campaign Machine will keep on spewing propaganda.......taking its cues from Borat. As Borat indicated to Rolling Stone---you can tell those dumb Christians anything and they'll believe it.
"Indeed."
Yep!
"Rasmussen also says we don't have to waste our time watching baseball this year -- "Poll: 16% Pick Bronx Bombers to Win World Series"."
Now, say that was about double......say 31%, I'd agree.
"In America, one of every ten abortions occurs in New York, and in New York, seven of every ten abortions are performed in New York City. In absolute terms, there are more abortions performed on minors, more repeat abortions, and more late abortions (over 21 weeks) in New York City than anywhere else in the country. In parts of the city, the ratio of abortions to births is one to one."

So? That says absolutely nothing about trends upward or downward.
Lemme know when you manage to get that cite.
[crickets]
N-i-c-e find----thanks.
NARAL and Planned Parenthood will no doubt "honor" Rudy for his outstanding help in achieving another milestone in the slaughter of the innocents.
I gave you one - the Murdock one you quoted yourself. If you want to disprove what he says be my guest. No matter what it says, it won't change how I vote in the primary, which won't matter anyway because our primaries are very late. Unlike you, though, if Rudy doesn't get the nomination, I won't sit in my computer chair and type missives about why I refuse to vote in the general election for whatever Republican has been chosen. I'll vote for the one whom the Republicans voted as their candidate.
ABH - Anybody but Hillary.
Hi areafiftyone, a previous poster was hoping you had the day off, hehehe.
The "Murdock one" contained no numbers, no source, no cite and was part of article refuting Murdock.
You were busted, your bluff was called, you punked out.
Rudy is their hero.
I blasted well do not like him one bit.
Oh my goodness. I didn't realize this thread is still going.
Well, according to this poll, despite the title, Rudy is in a virtual tie with Hillary, followed by two Dems, before they get to McCain and everyone else isn't even registering.
