WASHINGTON Members of extremist groups have signed up as school bus drivers in the United States, counterterror officials said Friday, in a cautionary bulletin to police. An FBI spokesman said "parents and children have nothing to fear."
Asked about the alert notice, the FBI's Rich Kolko said "there are no threats, no plots and no history leading us to believe there is any reason for concern," although law enforcement agencies around the country were asked to watch out for kids' safety.

" If that happened, and officials knew about it (which they seem to), then someone should be drawn and quartered."
After all the smoke and mirrors they would place the blame on the public for not being vigilant enough and request more funding to set up a Super Homeland Security Department with another useless CZAR.
That's a reasonable definition for law enforcement purposes- but it is startling to a civie...thanks for the explanation:)
The same FBI which said the Salt Lake City shooting was "unexplainable"? (Bosnian Muslim jihaist)
The same FBI which said the Oklahoma stadium bench bomber had "no connection to Islam"? (Student convert to Islam meant to kill students coming out of a football game, but his homemade bomb went off too soon)
The same FBI which said Flight 800 was an "accident", a "spontaneous center fuel tank explosion"? (none had ever occured, and the explosion happened in the exact spot where Richard Reid was sitting on his aborted attempt. Even John Kerry admitted on LKL that it was terrorism)
The same FBI which suppressed pre-9/11 reports of flight students wanting to learn "only to steer" because they didn't want to offend the Saudis?
The same FBI which destroyed Curt Weldon's campaign to elect an ally of CAIR? (Joe Sestak)
The same FBI which relies on interrogation tricks to invent indictments out of thin air where no evidence of wrongdoing exist? (Lewis Libby)
In the age of comon sense, the drivers would be immediately sought out and removed. In the age of PC, who knows?
The same way the forgot 9-11.
These "extremists" had better be careful!
Aw heck!
I'm going to punish myself by making a pan of apple crisp now.
As long as the FBI keeps us, and the rest of world, INFORMED about it all... it's okay, right?
Heh.
I used to joke about it being those 'redheaded Swedes' until some of them were actually captured in Somalia.
lol.
I agree that it is a messy article, however, the terms "foreign" and "foreigners" are used several times. The author is NOT talking about the KKK and co. here.
While this bulletin does allow the easily hysterical to go off big time as the comments below show I would be somewhat skeptical that the "extremists" are muslim at all.
Al Queda has an interest in getting Democrats elected. The last thing it wants is a re-aroused voter so I doubt it wants ANY terrorist actions inside this nation. Any action against children would work against its Stall Tactics in Iraq wherein they do just enough to keep the Treason Media attacks on Bush going.
I don't think I could do it. I don't think I could look at the driver of a school bus, see that he's a young Muslim male, then turn my son or daughter over to his care. I just couldn't do it.
Remember this story about the two Saudis in Tampa who boarded a school bus and acted as if they didn't know they were supposed two.

oops...double post, sorry, didn't think the first one went through
If these cavemen were to harm a bus full of schoolchildren, I can assure you that not one scorched brick of any mosque in this country will be left standing.
One word: BESLAN
Of interest.
