I can't watch anymore. It's like a murder trial and defense counsel is the only one allowed to question the witnesses...and the Judge is the suspects brother.

This Hodes guy..."there is clearly evidence that Karl Rove leaked classifed information"...
??????????
Since when?

redgirl, you do at least agree that it is the responsibility of those with a security clearance to ensure that the information they are sharing with reporters is not classified, right? I mean, you don't think they have to have someone else tell them what they can and can't talk about with the press, do you? Doesn't that responsibility rest with the person talking to a reporter? Is that the agreement they sign when they obtain their clearance?
If we were talking about Dims here, would you gladly accept the "well, nobody told me it was classified" excuse?

You should share your information with Director of National Intelligence General Michael Hayden. Apparently, the information he provided to the committee is a bit different than your information, so he would probably be grateful if you set him straight.

I am assuming that is the case. Why should they participate in this orchestrated charade? It is a waste of time.

Toensing coming up next. This should be good, should won't take the crap from the dems.
The questions have been pretty stupid so far, imho.
Norton was especially bad this last time, it is the CIA who determines who has a need to know regarding agents, not the WH. At least that is my understanding.

This whole thing is a farceExactly. I am more convinced after this that the CIA did nothing to protect Plame's identity, therefore Rove, Cheney, Libby et al had no idea she considered herself covert.
To: tiredoflaundry
Republicans on the committee who are not present are not there by choice. It isn't anyone else's fault if they aren't there participating, and asking the same questions folks here think should be asked.
