They weren't acting on behalf of Iraq, but the DNC, Howard Dean, and the Clinton Shadow Government...

Considering the latter's connection w/ the UN and the UN's connection with the former, what's the difference?

So isn't the CIA guy - Grenier - most at fault here then? He discussed her name with the WH and he allowed Novak to go ahead with his article -- all without ever warning anyone about her alleged "covert" status.

One thing I'll say for Waxman, he does offer the perfect face of the RAT party...... every time I see that ugly mug I think of rabid rats scurrying around underground.

Libs in the CIA were in the process of a political campaign against the war, and lying about the Pres and Cheney making up intell, pressuring the CIA for fake intell, ect, for the 2004 Presidential race.

So many there have an interest in keeping this "covert" farce going.

Proof of their propaganda is that no one was charged or arrested for this supposed crime.

Just more proof she was not really "covertclassifiedundercover."

"That, and the fact that she broke her super-duper top secret "cover" to him on one of their initial dates..... did she promptly report to here superiors the fact that SHE had compromised her super-secret identity with a married man with whom she was having an affair?"

Yes, that too would probably get her bounced from the Agency.

But weirdly enough it isn't against the IIPA, which allows officers to "out" themselves.

Naturally. A Dem was impeached, ergo it's necessary to impeach a Rep.

In the dreaded private sector, a manager can order an employee to seek assistance from Employee Assistance Programs. It is too bad that Waxman et al. do need get the emotional assistance that they need so desperately.

I will have to hold off on reading what Siggy and Dr. Sanity have to say until I get home.

LOL.....you see, that's where my mistake was: I was looking at this more as a break, as opposed to an INTERMISSION.

:-)

Old timers will recall that Waxman was a young member of the committee that voted to impeach President Nixon. I have a feeling I know how this show turns out.

In essence she is a fading wannabe vamp who is angling for a job in Hilary's administration, and is loving her day in the sun. Honey, you don't pose in your PJ's when you are miss serious secret agent.

It really PO's me that someone who is getting off on all this can sit there and pretend it all is so awful. Meanwhile she let her scum president lie on national tv while she posed in "spy" photos for Vanity Fair.

The reason is, as I have said before, Papa Bush had some dirty dealings in Mena, AR when he was CIA. GWB has bent over every time to keep the details from coming out. It is called extortion.

And I quote you from another thread on another matter...."Please provide some evidence of this." That is a serious allegation

"That is correct. The whole point of the legislation was to go after people like Agee -- and the people at "Covert Weekly" (or whatever it was called)..."

Now I remember. It was "Covert Action Quarterly."

And the Democrats screamed bloody murder when the IIPA was passed.

Notice how they cut to a commercial when a republican is up?

What channel are you watching? C-Span doesn't do commercials.

LOL.....you see, that's where my mistake was: I was looking at this more as a break, as opposed to an INTERMISSION.

It's political theater, nothing more. Look at in those terms.

In Act I, we are introduced to our "heroine" who is given ample opportunity to establish her character and backstory.

Act II will start to establish conflict -- adversarial opinions that will put our "heroine" to the test. The "heroine", in absentia, will be defended by her allies ('rat Congresscritters).

Then, I'm sure, the inevitable Act III, where the "heroine" makes her triumphant return to "slay the dragon" that her allies have weakened for her.
