Rep. Henry Waxman (D-CA) chairs a House Oversight and Government Reform Ctme. hearing on the disclosure of CIA Agent Valerie Plame Wilson's identity. The hearing will look into whether White House officials followed appropriate procedures for safeguarding the identity of Ms. Wilson.

You would think that, as a CIA employee that she would remember Torch Torricelli exposing several of our really covert agents. You would think that she would have been so outraged that it would have been seared, seared on her memory.

Waxman would not have scheduled this hearing unless: 1. questions could be limited to those approved by the Democrats. 2. hearing room to be packed with Democrat supporters to influence TV viewers.

The Dems don't want questions on how Val and Wilson worked to defend Saddam and sons as innocents, while working against their nation and Pres during a time of war.

Has ZERO to do with some kind of secret intell.

Proof? Val and Wilson leaked that secret intell to the press during a war.

Mrs. Plame, prior to the Niger incident, did you or your husband receive any money or other compensation from the government of Iraq or any agent acting on behalf of the government of Iraq?

EXACTLY....much, much too scripted. She new exactly what to say to their questions.

The only time she even paused in her answers was when the 2...count them 2 GOP House members asked questions.

Waxman opened the proceedings with a letter from the CIA asserting Plame's covert status. Period. End of guestioning.

Do you know that for sure? A lot of times representatives only show up for the portion(s) of a hearing in which they will be able to ask their questions -- did you hear or read that Republicans definitely are boycotting? Just curious.

They would have good reason to stay away from this charade of "forbidden questions" and politically orchestrated propaganda for the 'Rats. Still, if they are not going to make a fuss in this hearing they should be holding their own political theater in parallel, a mock hearing with cardboard cutouts of Joe and Valerie as "witnesses" who are asked all the questions they refuse to answer under oath.........

Woodward: Oh. She’s the chief WMD…?
Armitage: No. She’s not the…
Woodward: But high enough up that she could say, "oh, yeah, hubby will go."
Armitage: Yeah. She knows [garbled].
Woodward: Was she out there with him, when he was…?
Armitage: (over) No, not to my knowledge. I don’t know if she was out there. But his wife’s in the agency as a WMD analyst. How about that?

Did you catch that she said Joe know something was percolating a week before the Novak column? She said (re: did they try to stop him), she knows what she READ... read?
If she worked there and this case has been going on all this time, she doesn't know?

How did Joe know a week ahead of time, who told him?
She only knows what she read? But says nothing about this person letting Joe know? BS call.

Just got here... did anyone ask if she was covert yet?

Did anyone ask what harm the outing years ago did to her idenity?
