Appreciated. You do have a point that Daisy is not so common a name in the United States any more (except for cows). However, personally, have noted that the name change thing is primarily among Chinese (and Taiwanese) and Koreans. Other East Asians seem to keep their names, and from the surname, Daisy seems to be of Vietnamese descent.
We don't have global warming here.

A "Daisy Spencer", as White as pure driven snow, could also have married an Asian, Thi Hoan Nguyen and taken his name....
