Once when I was flying into Anchorage around Thanksgiving, we flew right through the Aurora Borealis. Imagine seeing it at eye level. It was beautiful and green like in the picture I posted.

Wow! Who knew you could get that close to it. I have never seen it...living too far south to get to. But it is beautiful!

Wow! I can just imagine how cool that would be, flying through the dancing lights. I've only seen them from the ground and a couple times in town from the back deck.
