Not being familiar with trains....does the snow mean the trains aren't running? You will have to drive? Be safe whatever mode of transportation you must use.

Sorry, I'm not totally coherent this morning.

By trains, I mean that I'm not driving and I won't have a trunk to pack stuff in. I have to haul it all around. I'll be walking about 6 blocks in the slosh to get to my elevated train, which I'll ride into the city to hook up with Metro North (lugging a couple of bags all the way).

I believe that the convention is running free shuttles from the station to the hotel, so I won't have to slog through much at that point.

Actually, if the slow had been heavy and started overnight last night, the elevated trains actually don't run. They can't make it up the hills from the underground portions of their lines. But that's not the case today, thankfully.
