And now the Rudybots want to make the whole USA into the left coast, and they plan on using that early CA primary as their vehicle.

I suspect you may be right. But don't paint all of us FReepers as Rudybots, that when given the choice between McCain or Rudy, we say Rudy. Obviously many of us will be working our tails off to make sure that is not the actual choices come primary time. If a better candidate gains some traction I know I will be pounding the pavement, banging on doors and manning phone banks to make sure neither Rudy nor McCain even sniff the nomination.

Gee, what depressing, pessimistic poll. The thought of a conservative not running for the GOP Presidential nomination is unthinkable. But, under such a circumstance, I'd write-in a candidate and then wait for a conservative to run as a third-party candidate in the general election.

Hey we're anti-RINO FReepers. Get it right. If Rudy was a real conservative he would be embraced like Reagan reincarnated.

Unfortunately, RINO's are a dime a dozen.

None of the above.

"I see we're up to about 50% Rudybots on FreeRepublic now."

Only when the only other name in the poll is equally repellant.

Staying home or going third party IS BAAAAAD!

Nothing is worse than eight years of a RINO and/or Democrat in the White House. That is nuclear winter scenerio for conservatives.

Hillary against either one of these jackasses would open the door for a prominent conservative to run and win as a third-party candidate.

But I do trust him on war issues, and the war is my bottom line.

So, if Stalin was running as a Republican, promised to protect the nation from terrorism and was a little more conservative than Hitler, who was running as a Democrat, you'd vote for Stalin, too?

It's quite easy to see they post more about Hillary than any other candidate.

In the short term Hillary would be a disaster. In the long term giving the RINOs a pass is worse.

Then you might need a pair of glasses. Rudy supports the WOT, limited government, tax cuts, deregulation, and other important Republican principles.

How can we know, other than to this word for it, which is worhtless considering he has a man devoid of character and a moral compass?

And, he supports or has supported the following:

Gun-control laws

The idea of man-made global warming

Guest worker programs for illegals while criticizing Bill Clinton for signing immigration laws that were too tough

Taxpayer-funded abortion while donating money to pro-abortion groups like NARAL

Hate crime legislation

The appointment of leftist judges as mayor of New York, including one that mandated taxpayers shell out $20,000 for sex change operation

The homosexual agenda (he marched in every single gay pride parades in New York, even in one including NAMBLA, and has even offered to cross-dress to raise money for militant homosexual groups

Not fair to use hypothetical boogeymen as strawman agrument against anothers reasoning. It's a poll for heaven's sake. A snapshot of only Freeper sentiments dealing with the here and now. Time and exploration sometimes have a way of changing what is true today into something totally false later. Calm down and work for the good.

This Hitlery or Giussolini business is tiresome... Julie-annie should just marry Mrs. Clinton, that way they would win for sure!

After all, he is just like Billy... except his prostate is toast and he is shooting blanks...

You're one to talk about a moral compass, when you make the most despicable allegations about someone like Rudy? You might think that it is normal to associate someone you don't like with NAMBLA, but normal people don't agree.

"In the short term Hillary would be a disaster. In the long term giving the RINOs a pass is worse. "

Your going to have to explain that... I have no love for RINOs but...

Thanks to the folks in the 90's who voted for Perot instead of Bush 41 or Dole we got Clinton for 8 years. And one could surmise that we got 911, a war in Iraq, North Korean nukes, and China testing satelite killing missles because of it. Domestically we got high taxes, tech bubbles, goverment corruption and corporate scandals (Enrons). Unfortunately people have short memories and do not understand the long term of effect of those bad decisions.
