A new pinglist, so if you're interested....

pan-Europe pinglist.*
This pinglist covers a broad range of topics relating to Europe: culture, current events, politics, science, history, arts, etc.

Warning: This could be a high volume pinglist.

Note: This pinglist covers--but not as much--Eastern Europe. There is already a moderate volume pinglist for that region.

Ping if you see a pertinent thread.

*To get on or off this list, freepmail with the subjects Europe on or Europe off .
No message is necessary.

To get on or get off this pinglist, freepmail here, with the appropriate subject.

There is also a:
John 3:16 (New King James Version): "16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
This pinglist can terminate at any time, without notice.

Everyone knows the Journal is a Republican propaganda machine, a mouthpiece for all that is evil. I wonder which Big Oil payroll he's getting his payola from? /s

Please make sure to post his obituary next week. Those GW fundamentalists don't take kindly to heresy.

He says the currently used method of determining the global temperature -- and any conclusion drawn from it -- is more political than scientific.

Agreed. And also consider that CO2 only comprises 0.036% (1/3 of 1%) of the atmosphere and that has not even doubled. How can something less than 2/3rds of 1% drive the climate to this "horrific" destruction that Al Gore is claiming that is only 10 years away!?

A Danish scientist said the idea of a "global temperature" and global warming is more political than scientific.

The Global Warming Syndicate will fine him 50,000 carbon credits for such a heretical statement.

The argument is presented in the Journal of Non-Equilibrium Thermodynamics.

---

Oh come on now. Look at the title of this publication - Thermodynamics??? Why cite this when you can cite 'An Inconvenient Truth'. Thermodynamics versus Truth??? Written study versus celluloid?? Scientist versus Oscar winner?? This is America. Hollywood is always right!

I saw this all over the newspapers. It was on every news outlet on TV as well with 24 hour coverage. I couldn't believe they were actually reporting and giving a fair say to something that contradicted their agenda.

Then I woke up. (it was a dream)

I watched a two-hour movie on the net yesterday. It was made in England and strongly condemned the GW myth and debunked it thoroughly. I did not see the link to the film, but just look up GW films and it should be easy to find. It was not on UTube, but another film site. Don't miss it! GW is a huge leftist political ploy and is a dangerous as such and as a new religion with St. Gore leading the attack.

What sheer Hubris of Humanity that we think our puny enterprises can disrupt an entire planet; man-made changes in LOCAL microclimates perhaps but maybe that's a result of increasing URBANIZATION which also occured as a consequence of the industrial revolution and not anything to do with 'eeeeevil' fossil fuel use that the 'green' activists WANT to blame it on.

As for GLOBAL climate; variances in insolation are well known to occur periodically why assume Man is 'guilty' of what even small changes in the Sun can much more easily affect?

There is an anti-West, anti-industrial anti-Progress anti-human POLITICAL agenda at work in this 'debate' and it STINKS imo..

differences of temperatures drive the processes and create the storms, sea currents, thunder, etc. which make up the climate".

I do believe this is the very first time I have seen this fact reported. Climate is dynamic!!!!! who knew? /s

Reported by very un-right-wing UPI and the sources are Danish and Canadian. No Americans, probably no oil company money and I bet they don't care about grants!
