On foreign policy, he said the nation must exhaust every avenue to stop the Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, from getting a nuclear weapon, an idea he declared unacceptable. He did not call explicitly for military action, but seemed to suggest that he would be more willing to use it than his Democratic rivals. "I believe it has a better chance of working if he believes that he has a president who will not under any circumstances allow Iran to have nuclear weapons," he said. Good for you Rudy!

Rudy did an excellent job of disarming law-abiding New York citizens, so I have no doubt that he will be as effective against Iran.
And they'll even get Gay Pride marches when he's through with them !!!

Your Giuliani theads have convinced me: I wasn't going to vote if Rudy got the GOP nomination, but now I am sure I will vote for anyone at all who opposes him. Anyone.

So, in short, he's using the same weasel language as Hillary. Wonderful.

just as much seemed to suggest he would be non-committal. Populist like Miller, right?

Dennis Miller may be just as good an articulator of the threat facing our country as Rudy.

Okay. Thats the way for Guiliani to go. If he keeps it up, and is sufficiently inspiring, I might vote for him.
He needs to keep working in this vein, and stay far, far away from his social views and personal peccadilloes.

Rudy gives a good talk on terrorism...the Iranian threat....getting things actually accomplished on fiscal issues....
and some posters start frothing at the mouth over guns and queers......

Dennis Miller is one of my favorites. I am delighted that he supports Rudy!
To: areafiftyone
Dennis Miller endorsed Rudy?
Alright, Rudy will be my preferred candidate in the primaries if he agrees to make Dennis Miller the White House Spokesman.

Dennis Miller did a great job on Leno's show approx. a month ago, cracking jokes with Leno, an obvious liberal, but Miller's repartee was spot on even with a lukewarm-sympathetic liberal audience.

I am wild about Dennis Miller since he came over to our side. I always thought he was a smart funny guy but his comedy was mostly about pop culture people who I had never heard of before. Hard for me catch the joke when I had no idea who or what he was talking about. Now when he makes jokes about Pelosi, Murtha and Kerry I am rolling around on the floor laughing.
If you are out there Dennis, I love you.

When you watch morons like Nancy Pelosi and David Obey of Wisconsin discussing our pullout from Iraq, the other day, they make like eight errors in four seconds," the comedian said ...Seemed like it. They couldn't even get the year right, and in one instance, they couldn't even get the century right. No joke.
