What a delightful scenario! Suppose that President Bush decides to quit for the good of the divisions that separate and stated that he would hope that both liberals and Conservatives would unite behind the unifying influence of President Cheney: - Let us pause for a minute and think through the ramifications of what the Washington crowd would do and how the world would react.

Who do you think he would select for his VP?

Cheney would probably pick either Mitt Romney, Rudy Giuliani, or Condi Rice as his V.P.

Let's be careful here. The Dems will insist that a Rino be nominated and will not allow a good conservative to be confirmed.

No idea, but I have no doubt that a President Cheney would pick a good conservative for VP.
