It is exactly your kind of thinking which will promote the use of assisted suicide against a person's will.

So....respecting a person's will as primary encourages the ignoring of a person's will?

And I suppose cops encourage crime and Coalition troops encourage terrorism...? If we didn't have that durn Constitution and all those messy "rights" then things would be peachy, eh? Sheesh...some logic!

People have never had the right to kill themselves and for good reason. Just like the right to abortion, it's not in the constitution.

Granting the right to assisted suicide will assure the death of many innocent people against their will. Like the right to abortion it will be abused. That is the reason the law must err on the side of life.

I would happily suffer through a terminal or painful illness and that of loved ones (and have already) to prevent such an onslaught.
