The Camel's Nose In The Tent.

One cold night, as an Arab sat in his tent, a camel gently thrust his nose under the flap and looked in. "Master," he said, "let me put my nose in your tent. It's cold and stormy out here." "By all means," said the Arab, "and welcome" as he turned over and went to sleep.

A little later the Arab awoke to find that the camel had not only put his nose in the tent but his head and neck also. The camel, who had been turning his head from side to side, said, "I will take but little more room if I place my forelegs within the tent. It is difficult standing out here." "Yes, you may put your forelegs within," said the Arab, moving a little to make room, for the tent was small.

Finally, the camel said, "May I not stand wholly inside? I keep the tent open by standing as I do." "Yes, yes," said the Arab. "Come wholly inside. Perhaps it will be better for both of us." So the camel crowded in. The Arab with difficulty in the crowded quarters again went to sleep. When he woke up the next time, he was outside in the cold and the camel had the tent to himself.

Prior to US entry in WW-II, the Nazis had a large following in the US and even staged a rally in Madison Square Garden complete with swastika flags and Nazi salutes. The pro-Nazi "Bund" groups were organized and had offices in major US cities. After Pearl Harbor these pro-Nazis were rounded up and put in camps for the duration of the war and their offices were raided and closed. If the US is attacked again, I think the American people should demand we do the same with these Islamic Fascist front groups.

I joined a mixed Monday night bowling league as a walk-in I got teamed up with two very nice young men around my own kids' ages 18 & 20. (Both younger than my bowling ball!)

I wasn't sure if they were Italian or Egyptian or Greek, they had the "swarthy" Mediterranean-like coloring and the hint of an accent. One is a student at a local business college and the other works with his father as a plumber.

They were relatively new bowlers, but very good. When I suggested they ask for bowling balls and shoes for holiday or birthday gifts they said their holiday had just ended. I realized it was Ramadan. They are Yugoslavian.

We have a really mixed league, all different ethnic groups, ages and professions and religions. The boys are really good natured, even though a couple of folks keep calling them "terrorists". Personally, I think that's over the line, but they're more focused on kicking some bowling butt than blowing anything up, Its more because we've stealthily moved into 2nd place than anything else.

So no, I won't be joining you in your call to "expel all Muslims".

In fact, looking at the folks on my bowling league, from the black female doctor to the white male Con Ed supervisor, the NYC kindergarten teacher and the waitress from a local bar to me, the white female DBA, the big black guy with dreadlocks who is the assistant manager at the bowling alley and Filipino accountant and know that this is where the greatest strength of this country comes from.

Correct. Also, in Deu. 7-2 God is commanding the Jews to overtake certain peoples and make their lands their own because those people fell from God's favor.
But more importantly, in Deu. 7-2 God did NOT command the Jews to wage perennial war against any tribe, nation or people; but Mohammed commands his koranimals to wage eternal war against Christians and Jews.

I don't think you can do this without striking at the heart of our civil law and destabilizing the nature of American citizenship.

However I do (1) firmly believe that we've been handing out green cards and citizenship like candy to too many people who are more interested in our currency than our country and (2) given the events of the past decade that all Muslim immigration needs to be brought to a complete halt until those Muslims who are here can properly integrate into our society.

As far as those Muslims who have links with terrorist organizations, throw them out right away. And no more Saudi government funded mosques, either.

I don't make my comments about Generation.com merely as a crotchety old curmudgeon. I have worked extensively with young people, both in resident and non-resident environments. Yes, there a few damn fine youngsters out there, but they are far and away the exception to the rule. Not that my generation (X) is a shining beacon of American citizenship (we're damn near worthless), but with Generation.com, we have scraped through the bottom of the barrel, and are now working on the gravel underneath.
