Democrats are not responsible for their actions.

They are victims.

Uh, OK. I guess his lectering Hillary to own up to her vote doesn't mean much anymore. Besides, didn't Bush rely on his national security advisors? How come Edwards thinks he can blame this in his advisors and Bush can't?

Purely rhetorical I know the answer.

So Shrum is falling on his sword and doing the big suck up, so he can get lots of campaign consulting cash from the Breck Girl.

"It's not my fault I made an important decision....it's my advisers."
I grew so rich that I was sent
By a pocket borough into Parliament.
I always voted at my party's call,
And I never thought of thinking for myself at all.
I thought so little, they rewarded me
By making me the Ruler of the Queen's Navee!

John Edwards was skeptical about voting for the Iraq war resolution and was pushed into it by advisers looking out for his political future

"Pushed into it"? Where does the buck stop? And this guy thinks he's President material?

So who needs a President who can be 'influenced' to go against his own conscience on anything? Edwards is worthless either way. Spineless, airhead twit!!

I know this is supposed to deflect
blame from Lil johnnie Toady Liar,
But all it really does, is show yet
again, that other people make up
his mind for him.

If this is true, this guy made
Edwards vote against his own
concience, and for the war...

The Frothing at the mouth Left got
him to hire the two blasphemers,
and *keep them after the scandal
broke, until he was convinced
they were causing him too much damage...

He makes it very clear his wife
has his balls in her handbag...

and now the the rabid Stalinist left
got him to pull out of the FNC hosted
debate...

Edwards has no buisiness seekihng
the office of the President, when
he doesn't even have a firm grasp
as to what he himself believes.

Yeet another poll phoney.

Thanks Bob Shrum, for confirming for us what we already knew: John Edwards has no core convictions and is easily swayed for political expediency.

Edwards spokesman David Ginsberg disputes the suggestion (blah, blah, blah)...

"John Edwards cast his vote based on the advice of national security advisers and the intelligence he was given, not political advisers,"

What a crock of shiite as I remember that time like it was yesterday.

That vote was scheduled in OCTOBER, before the upcoming election and every RAT in both Houses were bitching and moaning about Bush and the 'mean' republicans making it "Political". Tom Daschle and Dickie Gephardt were all over the news whining about "the timing".

They wanted the vote delayed till after the election because they didn't want to go on record as being a bunch of unpatriotic, un-American wussies, but their hand was forced. And they knew if they voted NO their cushy career was over so they all voted for it.

$#$@$# LIARS!

Bob Shrum, despite his abysmal record in electing presidential candidates, remains a fairly powerful Dem consultant. Just my opinion, he's doing this to land his next job with Hillary.

Or maybe Obama. I've never really seen Shrum linked to the Clinton circle (much more Kennedy). Maybe he's playing his charlatan magic for the inexperienced Obama advisors. Either way, this is all about Bob getting a new job.

I like the way the Edwards campaign had an immediate, canned response. They knew this was coming.

Bob Shrum is writing a memoir! This ought to be a huge best-seller. I don't think the DNC is going to buy up all copies in order to save this moron's bacon. Only in America
