Giuliani leads McCain by 16 percentage points, a CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll finds.
WASHINTON (CNN) -- Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has opened up a double-digit lead over Arizona Sen. John McCain in the race for the GOP presidential nomination, a new CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll out Monday indicates.
Thirty-four percent of registered Republicans support Giuliani, while 18 percent support McCain, the poll finds. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich of Georgia and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney are each tied at nine percent in the poll.
In a similar CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll conducted at the end of January, McCain trailed Giuliani by only six percentage points, registering 26 percent to Giuliani's 34 percent.

The only problem with this poll is, it has a very small sample size.
They sampled a total of 1 (one). CNN was proud to participate.

Rudy's going to see the money start flooding his way with all this early momentum.
He could be the nominee less than a year from now.
To: areafiftyone
Rudy has all momentum right now !. but it is still only March 2007.
People are accepting his stand on terrorism over the other stuff right now. and that is a good thing.

Bump for good news!!!! :)

Are You Satisfied With The Candidates Running For The Republican Nomination?

35 percent
Conservative primary voters are more likely to want more choices than moderates, and 62 percent of white evangelical primary voters also say they want more choices.
Historically, Republicans have been more satisfied with their candidates than Democrats. But that's not true this year. A majority of Democratic primary voters say they are satisfied with their options for the nomination.
Moreover, six in 10 voters nationwide expect a Democrat will win the presidential election in 2008. Half of Republican primary voters expect a Republican will win in 2008, but more than a third think a Democrat will win. Democratic primary voters are much more confident a candidate from their party will win.

While I'm all for Giuliani (and Thompson) this poll may well reflect McCain's fall from grace as much as Rudy's ascendancy.

I bet the Rudy is scared to death the Fred Thompson will decide to run. He's probably got his 'bots flooding the internet trying to stage a pre-emptive strike.

I find this wide rejecion of McCain quite satisfying.
Will he accept the message and just withdraw??? Doubtful, I suppose.

That's right! A few million more slaughtered babies, a few more liberal judges and more gun control...oh yeah, that is a good thing indeed!!

Sadly, abortions will still be happening in 2010 no matter who is president in 2009.
get it ?

"Sadly, abortions will still be happening in 2010 no matter who is president in 2009. "
So you are OK with a pro-abort candidate. How about the other issues like Gun Control, Immigration, open government and corruption? Do those matter?
