Activist though he may be, Cromwell isnt above taking a part for the cash, which is how he ended up on 24, the television series with which he says he has 'real problems. On the show, Cromwell plays Jack Bauers father, a corrupt industrialist who runs gasp a multinational corporation.
'I cant handle living in the United States of America you can tell someones getting soap-boxy when they call it that, and Cromwells indulging in a moment of heartfelt theatre now 'when I know the last two elections were rigged, and that we were denied our right to vote, where we live in a country where 32 per cent of the people vote and even those peoples votes dont count, and the people who should really have a stake, kids, dont have a say at all people of colour, very little to say, unions, practically nothing any more were losing our jobs

This is certainly earth shattering news, the mods should keep it as the # 1 breaking news story for many weeks to come (extreme sarcasm).

Well, he seems well cast on 24 then, he is an asshat in real life and he plays one on 24. Big deal, why is this news?

It sounds like James Cromwell is as loony as the character he played in 'Six Feet Under.'

Stretch Cunningham on "All in the Family"?
Also, Miss Liza Jane's ex-boyfriend on "Little House on the Prairie", wasn't he, or am I thinking of another actor?
He seems so sadly delusional. He should move to Iran where things are better.

In reference to the United States of America.
I can tell when someone's getting Commie-moonbatty when they say, "people of colour".
A janitor in the London Tube could make the front page of this rag if he said he hated the U.S.

I thought it was news/current events, this post is just above one about space aliens boycotting modified crop fields and the umpteenth posting about the sorority getting kicked out because the girls aren't attractive.
Many 24 news stories get posted on the news thread, this story is new, about a very hot conservative TV show.
I'll admit I don't know much about posting, but I don't understand why space aliens boycotting genetically modified crop fields did not draw comments.
