INDIANAPOLIS (March 10, 2007) -- Colts coach Tony Dungy's acceptance of an invitation to speak to a conservative Christian group should not be construed as an endorsement of the group's opposition to same-sex marriage, the head of the Indiana Family Institute said.
Some local and national gay rights groups have questioned Dungy's decision to appear at a fundraising banquet this month for the institute, which has been a leading supporter of a proposed state constitutional amendment defining marriage as only between one man and one woman.

This kind of thing is exactly what Ann Coulter was talking about a few days ago, that "you have to go into rehab" for using certain words. A homosexual rights group wants to limit a well known citizen's right to free speech and to free association. Ann was making a point(s) using humor. They are dead serious................they want it to be like in Canada, where it is against the law to speak out on certain issues..............

Maybe Sports Illustrated can switch their focus from global warming to gay rights and marriage. That wil really buck up their circulation.

Exactly. Wait until gay marriage is allowed in some states
and the law suits start to fly against Churches that refuse
to marry them. What a sick society it has become when only
minorities have the right to expression....JJ61

I sent back my SI flier with the comment....I wanted Sports and Hot Chicks in Bikinis.... but you gave me some Global Warning Bullsh#t....
I'll stick to ESPN for now. Everybody should do the same... just rip out the next circulation flier and send it in... its free for us and cost the lib/environmental douche bags to eat the postal costs.... that'll look real good for the bottom line.
The editor that approved might even get sacked...bwahahahahaha

Except that ESPN Mag was pushing that gay basketball player that nobody ever heard of (or gave a crap about, for that matter). ESPN Magazine is no better.

Wow, I mean, how
dare Tony Dungy speak to conservative Christians, eh?
I think Dingy Hairy's sucking up to the moron.org group constitutes an endorsement of their opinion that Bush is equal to Hitler.

So I suppose that free speech is only permitted when it has gone throught the left's approval meter? I like Tony Dungy, and he is not there speaking for the Colt's organization but for himeself and his personal beliefs. If he is a pro-life, pro-family Christian, it is his business, and no one should even be making a big deal about it. You can guarantee the media would be fawning all over him if he was speaking for the LGBT community, NARAL, or about global warming.
