PRESIDENTIAL NEWS OF THE DAY: President and Mrs. Bush arrived in Bogota, Columbia today. His visit is a show of support for the Columbia, which is a staunch ally of the United States. The following AP/USA Today piece summarizes the visit.
Bush pays brief call on Colombia
Updated 41 mins. ago BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) President Bush renewed U.S. support to Colombia, a strong but drug and violence-plagued U.S. ally which receives more U.S. aid than any country outside the Middle East and Afghanistan. Bush arrived in the nation's capital on Sunday to meet with President Alvaro Uribe in a show of confidence for Uribe and Colombia's battle against narcoterrorists. But the stop was clouded by a political scandal involving Uribe, and security jitters had Bush staying only about six hours.
Colombia was the third country on the president's five-nation tour of Latin America. He began his journey in Brazil, flew here from Uruguay and was headed later Sunday to Guatemala. Bush last stops in Mexico before returning to Washington Wednesday.
It was Bogota's first visit from a sitting president since Ronald Reagan in 1982. Some 20,000 police and heavily armed troops will virtually shut off downtown Bogota to guard against a possible rebel attack.
PRESIDENTIAL SCHEDULE:
Mar. 14, President and Mrs. Bush arrive back in Washington from their trip to South America and Mexico. Mar. 15, House GOP Leader John Boehner (R-OH) chairs the NRCC March Dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel, headlined by President Bush.
Mar. 16, Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern will meet in the White House with President Bush to discuss bilateral issues and Northern Ireland, and to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with their annual "Shamrock Ceremony."

She did frame a few of them and had them hanging in her bedroom. :)
Grandma forbid fingerpainting in her house, so we were pretty much relegated to Crayola's. LOL

They'll certainly remember the FUN times, like finger and toe painting. :)
Grandma bought the big 128 Crayon box and she would buy each of us a "artist tablet". So when she was baking in the kitchen, us kids would be at the table creating colorful stick figure masterpieces. LOL :)

I have BOXES of crayolas --- every color imaginable --- but they love to paint now and the 11 year old girl is really good with acrylics.

I also remember every Saturday night was bath night. Grandma would bathe my brother and I in the bath tub, and then we would get in our PJ's after bath time. Grandpa always snuck into the bedroom and tied our PJ's in knots. So we'd hide our PJ's, but he always managed to find them, tie knots in them, and put them back where he found them. LOL
So he would call for a race, so grandpa, my brother and I would race into our PJ's. Well, one time we tied grandpa's PJ's in a knot, but he just grabbed a different pair in his drawer. LOL

Yeah, this box of 128 Crayons has some colors they don't make anymore! Course the Crayons they have these days aren't as toxic as the ones we used. LMAO

please tell your gracious mother, there are a lot of us in Mass. Who love the president and Mrs.Bush. She certainly is not alone. I saw the same paper it's rubbish, some people e just have to make things up because The Bush family are very close and obviously love eachother very much. It makes them feel better to put down others than focus on their own sad lives.
