"French Jews living in South Florida told The Miami Herald that hostility from Islamic militants in France after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the United States spurred them to leave."There is a lesson to be learned in this story.

"French Jews living in South Florida told The Miami Herald that hostility from Islamic militants in France after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks in the United States spurred them to leave." First of all, there is no such thing as Islamic militants, they are "yoots". Secondly, Islam is the "Religion of Peace", so this is a tissue of lies!

I'm glad they are smart enough to get out of France. Things are not going to get any better, for quite a while, at least.
I hope we grant them asylum.

Departures surged after last year's abduction and death torture murder of Ilan Halimi in France. There, fixed.

There is a lesson to be learned in this story. <<< The lesson should be to American Jews, and which Party to vote for in the next election!
The one they have been backing is appeasing Muslims - in war and peace, left, right and to the hilt!!

If they're french they should stay in France and if they're Jewish they're probably liberals, so never mind with the country jumping.

For hundreds of years, some people have fled to this continent in avoidance rather than face up to oppression in their homelands. (Many others also came and for different reasons.)
I wonder to what extent those people passed that tendency on to their descendents, many of whom seem unwilling to face up to internal or external threats of oppression today.
And I wonder what will happen when there's no place left to flee to -- whether such people will finally stand and fight or let the oppressor win.
