Bahbah, I think Libby ought to go for another round because if he is aquitted, the cloud is completely removed from his head. Not only that, but if he is acquitted, he can go after the government to pay his legal expenses. If he's pardoned, that will always hang over his head.

He should only be pardoned if they won't give him a second trial or the appeal court refuses to look at it.

I agree with you McGavin; I think a little patience for a pardon is the best approach. Libby wants to be completely vindicated and a pardon would not do that. I would only wish that the stupid Judge Walton will recognize his reputation is in the gutter for how he allowed this case to be tried. He can rectify it by overturning the verdict (or whatever means he has to remove the guilty verdict); otherwise, he will be forever known as another Judge Ito. His decisions thoughout the case were favorable to Fitzy. Fitzy should be tried for prosecutorial misconduct with Russert filing a false affidavit with Fitzy's knowledge. The whole thing sucks.

Very good point. I would like to see Fitzfong be assessed with those costs (just dreaming).
