Democratic strategist Bob Beckel admitted, in an interview on Fox News, that Fred Thompson for president would be their worst nightmare. Sounds good to me!

Exactly, A51. They want Thompson to win and the usual suspects now are BELIEVING the Dims!
We've been telling the liberals that "please run Hillary" for the same reason.
Ken Livingstone wasn't it? Something like that.
He certainly fell of the end of the earth!!!! We need to dig him up now for the cameras, 'specially since Hillary is running for President, he'd make good headlines.
Any freepers private detectives? We need to find this guy NOW.
Before I read your post, I was thinking HIM running with McCain as VP. Although I like Fred, I'd rather have him not run at all than fixed to a McCain ticket in ANY capacity.
I see you haven't graduated kindergarten yet.
There's a split between the "pro-life is all that matters" and the "who cares about abortion" types...Reagan's style and method of conservatism was able to unite them.
Newt's always voted pro-life but it's never been his focus, which I'm actually OK with as long as he votes the right way on the issue.

>>> Agreed. They are up to something.
Maybe that's what they want you to think. Unless they think that you think that they don't think about what you think.
I agree! I will not vote for McCain and I really don't think he will win the primary. Right now, Romney is still the best of the so called "top three". How I wish for a Thompson/Hunter ticket!
'Any Republican that stood publicly with the Democrats and gave encouragement to the enemy....will NEVER get my vote.'
Ditto.
I feel the same way. I'm a little excited about this. I was a Mitt man, unenthusiastically (anyone but Rudy syndrome).
I can't imagine Fred Thompson, at his age, giving up a very lucrative acting career to run for the VP spot, even to help a friend. If he makes that kind of personal sacrifice I've little doubt he would go for the gold.

Yeah, at 65 years old, Fred must be right next to death's door, rolfmao! Oh, wait... Ronald Reagan was 69 when he was first elected president. I'd say that his presidency turned out pretty well, wouldn't you?
Also, Thompson married a 35-year-old major babe just five years ago. Ol' Fred is probably still pretty frisky, LOL.
I just can't believe the straw men that some of you are throwing out here. Lame. Very lame...
I like Newt Gingrich Duncan Hunter and Romney but i'll have my eye on Fred
LOL. Yea, I thought the same thing as soon as I posted that.
So . . . let's look at her record as co-president, universal health care, blaming the vast right wing for Bill's testesterone problems, hiring Ken Livingstone, travelgate, whitewater . . . missing silverware from the White House . . . .
Me too please.
I don't think God himself could fix everything that's wrong with Louisiana politics in 8 years. That being said, Jindal will clean up the mess that Kathleen Blanco has made, especially with Katrina, and that alone is worth at least a Veep slot. IMO though, he's good enough to be President...
And eventually off the Radar Screen.
He brings his own help, I cannot wait to see the polls.
Got it!
AFAIK, only that he supported it.
