Yeah, but just remember it does NOT mean that Bush administration diplomacy, intelligence and military muscle is working (even though Bush has concentrated more attention on Africa, by far, than any previous American president, with a special emphasis on vastly increased aid, a wide array of policies encouraging good governance, the rule of law, and since 9-11 has put significant American special forces and other military resources into ungoverned regions of Africa, like Somalia and other parts of the horn of Africa, from which this perp apparently fled, to Kenya, where the forces that apparently caught him were very possibly trained by the American military).

How can you know all this good stuff? Do you read the foreign press? Or are you good at reading between the lines and picking up on and linking miscellaneous tidbits?
