Some people should take the advice of many a mother and father, "If you don't have anything nice to say . . . ."
To: EveningStar
I can't believe the BushBots are actually defending this crap.
To: HostileTerritory
Bush compared the effect of her book to that of The Diary of Anne Frank. That's optimistic and maybe a little crazy, but it doesn't follow at all that she compares herself to Anne Frank. Uh, since AnneFrank WROTE "The Diary of Anne Frank", she kind of is.
To: linn37
Actually its not, it was already discounted on Freerepublic some time ago. By whom and where? My Bush-connected friends told me the family was pretty steamed up over this "discounted" photo.
To: Cool Chick
Actually it is. I looked it up on google and there are a whole group of images of her changing her underwear in public on the beach. it's her. real classy broad. Technically, she is putting her bikini on, and it is reasonable to assume she thought it was on a private beach (and it may well have been).
To: RexBeach
I'm sure she meant well. Bushes always do. That's the problems. Their political enemies never do.

"I myself played with liberalism in my 20s and most conservatives I know today did the same." So the above is why most NORMAL people do?
Dabbling in liberalism in your twenties has nothing to with being normal or abnormal. It probably has more to do with maturity/immaturity.
BTW, I never fell for liberalism. Neither did most of the conservatives I know. And I'm proud of it.

I am not defending that message. I just object to the comparison to Anne Frank.

If he can't, he has a problem. My daddy has been dead for a long time.

I'm sure I don't. I just thought it was an opportunity for a Coulter reference. I didn't mean to offend.

If Debbie could have stayed exclusively on the point of cheapening the meaning of the Holocaust, I think a lot of people here wouldn't have minded.

Perhaps you might read post #44 by CMAC51. Your friend Debbie twisted her column out of a USA TODAY article.
