....and head to Washington, D.C. for the Gathering of Eagles next weekend.
Freeper #1 Jim Robinson has joined the Move America Forward caravan and is making the cross-country trek to join the Eagles as they protect the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and rally for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
March 17, 2007 has the potential to go down in history as the day Vietnam veterans, veterans of other eras and their fellow patriotic Americans stood up to the anti-American left in overwhelming numbers.
Troops in Iraq and Afghanistan know about the Gathering of Eagles and are cheering us on. Will you let them down by staying home? Or will you make the sacrifice of time, effort and a change in your schedule to stand up for our troops-past and present.
If you have it in your power to be there--be there.
Buses are being organized, hotel blocks have been reserved, permits are being acquired and logistics being squared away. All that's left to do is for you to show up and stand up.
Jim Robinson will be there to protect The Wall and the honor of our troops. Freepers, please join him there. It's important.

Done.
LOL... great headline! Got my attention... ;-)
Oops, post #61 was meant to be addressed to you. My reminiscing on the olden days in SAC got in the way.

Looking forward to seeing you on March 17!
Depends on how old (young) your kids are. It's going to be a long day. There will be alot of people, lots of police to keep an eye out for any ne'er-do-wells, but no guarantee that a couple of them won't get in and cause trouble. There will be alot of people on our side to catch any troublemakers who get past police. All that said, it looks to be a historic event.
See you there! I'll ping you when we get any new info to report.
I really want my boys to see and understand what is going on, but as you said, it will be a long day and has the potential to be chaotic. I think the boys will have to stay home with Dad. It's too bad, the baby has a cute 4th ID bib. :)
Thanks, FRiend! :o)
ONE of these years we'll make it WR...
You're on your way!
And 2 DC circuit judges in DC have already surrendered! :)
I'm so sorry I can't be there (I'm in Colorado), but I've had some signs made up and I'm going to start offering my fellow Coloradoans the chance to have support rallies outside Ft Carson every so often. Bless you all and bless our troops! Here's to victory!
Done.
well in that case, bill clinton's not coming...
Signed up and ready.
