I'm not interested in the '08 race right now either -- FAR too early. [It bothers me however that conservative 'purists' continually cite Gingrich as the one man who can 'save' the conservative movement/Republican Party . . . A man without character/integrity can't 'save' a movement or anything else for that matter . . . BTW: These same 'purists' will rationalize Gingrich's behavior in one breath and in the next breath criticize President Bush mercilessly for tilting his head too far to the left when he sneezes -- hypocrites!]

MEG, I think Laura is very affected by the sun in her eyes. I've noticed it before. She was criticized for wearing sunglasses, and I haven't seen a picture of her since with them on. I wish she'd just wear them, and the heck with the critics.
I love Laura's white suit, too. Not many women her age can wear white and look slender in it.
There are rumors that Fred Thompson is considering running. I've always liked him and he is a solid conservative.
Maybe I should just pray that the right man comes along.
It will not be Guiliana; I don't think he can get the nomination. He's a likeable guy but too much baggage and wrong on some core things.

This is one of the big differences between US and UK politics. I would not have a clue where most of the British politicians stood on this issue it is just not a subject that would either be asked or mentioned. The most that might be said would be that they might be pro lowering the legal limit of how many weeks etc but that is about it.
I hope so!
Just hope they aren't going to be gone very long.
