Newt: Far far better than Rudy or McCain
I'd like to see Brownback or Hunter positions also

I think any criticisms of Newt Gringrich--on this thread--can and should be kicked off by those of us Freepers who are without sin or who have never sinned.Any takers??

It worked for Bill Clinton with Jessie Jackson. Why shouldn't it work for Newt?

The only unforgiveable sin here is advocating liberal policies.

Two kinds of people: those who agree God's standard is right even when they themselves fall short and those who don't.

I think it takes CHARACTER to do that. Conservatives seem to have a real problem finding any warm body with that quality this primary season.

It worked for Bill Clinton with Jessie Jackson. Why shouldn't it work for Newt? Because he's a Republican. Didn't you know there is no forgiveness for Republicans?

CAN HE RUN THE COUNTRY THE REAGAN WAY?Only Reagan could do that and he's not available.
If one has to lead in the footsteps of a great American then they might as well be a Democrat.
The "Gingrich way" should be the new appeal.

Adultery, among other grievous sins, is a disqualifier for the Presidency. Public officials, particularly those aspiring to our nation's top office, must be held to a higher standard. I like Newt, but he is OUT. So too are McCain & Rudy. Republicans have become Democrats in too many foreign & domestic policy issues. They don't need to behave like them. Yes, Ronald Reagan was divorced & remarried. I wish it were not so...

Glad to see Newt won't pander for potential votes.Hate to burst your bubble if you think he is running, however he isn't pandering because he has no intention of running for POTUS.
