They are filling up buses from all over the nation of like-minded Veterans, active duty troops, (on their own time) and patriotic citizens who are making the trip. The Website has posted in excess of 225K hits in few weeks.

And your reasoning behind your guess is what, exactly?Number of posts on this and other sites saying they are going. Numbers of MAF participants so far. Historical precedents showing low numbers for rallies. The lack of mention on sites such as myspace (college age students would the ones more likely to show up as they have less job constraints). I think 'thousands' is a vast overestimate.
That said, I will be there.

FYI: be careful of the parking, as there will be virtually none near the wall. your best bet would be to park at one of the metro stops (Pentagon City has 2 decks), and then metro it in.
