I'm not sure where you get the idea about the laugh track.

Use your ears. Whether or not there is a live audience, there is most definitely a laugh track.

Things haven't really changed since 1776 have they?

For a start, the false reinterpretations of the Constitution by liberal judicial activists have changed the country a great deal.

While the heart of man has not gotten any better since the fall, what we teach our children about right and wrong has changed a great deal in the last four decades since the sixties.

I agree with everything you said.

I was talking about the heart and intent of those who wish this country harm. Although I'm always a little surprised at what some do to harm us from within, a moments reflection on our history and I realize that we've always been able to overcome them.

I must admit it looks a little bleak right now. I hope it's jsut my age, I want my grandchildren to enjoy the same wonderful freedoms we still have.

It is the conservative answer to the Daily show. Except that it is much funnier. Hey, there is so much "low-hanging fruit" to grab at liberal expense that I predict this show will last much longer than 13 episodes. More like 13 years. WooHoo!

Laugh track - ugh! I can't stand programs with laugh tracks. And it is not particularly funny.

Then you couldn't have watched it. There was a live audience, both programs, panned multiple times.

Those obvious laugh tracks are distracting and make the skits seem forced. I actually think the show would do better if they animated Rush Limbaugh's/Paul Shanklin's parodies. That would be funny. Just imagine an animation of John Kerry singing pariah.

You couldn't have watched the show if you thought they had laugh tracks. It was a live audience, both times, they panned the audience several times and if you HAD watched it, you would have seen that.

Exactly. The show is funny as hell. Joel is the man! This show has legs people. Get used to it.

I didn’t see the first one but saw the second show for a painful 10 minutes. I found it unfunny. It had a real loud annoying phony laugh track which I resented. I resented it because the laugh track was telling me that I was too stupid to know that I should be laughing.

10 minutes, out of an hour of programming? Then you didn't see the LIVE AUDIENCE, both times.

Maybe If you say it enough times it'll come true

The only thing I like about him is that he's pro-troops & has done some good pieces on several trips to Iraq.

And the poster is name-calling, as well. I guess everyone who disagrees with him/her is an idiot.

I saw one show, I don't know if it was the first or the second, but I loved it. It made me so happy to see comedy on a major network from a completely conservative. The ACLU ads were hilarious and right on the money. Don't believe the negative posters Freepers. They are probably DU types who are desparate to see the show fail because it skewers liberals so badly. THIS SHOW NEEDS TO BE SUPPORTED.

Not sure I can answer your question, but here's 1 of at least 3 clips that are at YouTube:

More like 13 years.

Does that mean that liberals will be around for the next thirteen years - Oh, God! I hope not!
